Following Katie Price’s engagement posts. She’s just split from JJ slater - now she’s engaged to some Dubai businessmen. At first I thought the posts were AI , but upon further inspection ( see : time wasting ) he is a real person with a Facebook account that has been active for some time, as is his mothers it seems - so he is real.

But , surely this is some kind of publicity stunt ? I have always liked her but it just seems a bit ridiculous at 47 years of age if it is ?

I'm surprised people are surprised to be honest. She's a complete train wreck and the only ones I feel sorry for are her poor children and any animal she encounters.

KP was very young when she became a glamour model, getting her tits out for sleazy men on Page 3. The adults around her at that time should be ashamed of themselves.

I actually feel so sorry for her, she seems to have completely lost herself 😞 as for him, hes just another hanger on out to make as much money as he can off of her & take advantage... that video of him telling her to show the ring ... it was like he was trying to own her or something.

I feel desperately sorry for her, much as I deplore her choices. I’m going to make myself unpopular here, but I see her trajectory as absolutely emblematic of the kind of “feminism” that flourished in the 90s when women got complacent ; sex work is fine and dandy, porn is empowering, cosmetic surgery is a positive choice, oversexualisation and being objectified is “girl power”. She’s been chewed up and spat out by that culture and her mental and physical health are shredded beyond repair. I hope her daughters fare better.

@Pancakeflippertotally agree. She's a lost cause and to the PP who said she's skint - she's not - she's making a fortune on Only Fans. Sadly for her children, I think she will see an early grave.

Hasn’t she recently regained full residency of her youngest children? They’ve obviously been through a lot in their short lives and need some security. How is she finding the time to fly off to Dubai without them?

I do feel for her. She is attacked a lot and yes she has made some bad choices but people need to remember she is a survivor of SA, a survivor of an emotionally abusive relationship with a narcissist, shoved into the world of glamour modelling at a very young age , publicly cheated on and became a mother to a child with complex needs and was abandoned by his father , she hasn’t exactly had an easy life

I don’t think any of that excuses the way she has abused multiple animals in her care and the way she exploits her disabled son.

It is really bizarre and seems to have come out of nowhere. I wouldn't be surprised if she has a personality disorder of some kind, maybe BPD but the way that she is so thin these days reminds me of Amy Winehouse.

That was decades ago.

At which point does she start to bear some personal responsibility for the choices she makes? Or is the fact that she did not have the perfect upbringing an eternal excuse for her continuing poor decisions? Eg, if the people who made money off her when she was young also bad poor upbringings, does that absolve them of the choices they made back then?

None of that excuses her behaviour. At some point people need to take responsibility for their actions and she simply doesn't. I rather suspect she enjoys the poor woe is me attitude.

It's worth remembering she's killed multiple animals and the fact she's not killed someone in one her multiple accidents is truly down to just sheer damn luck.

I don’t follow her every move but I have seen several stories about her spending a fair bit of time in Dubai recently. Perhaps she’s known this man for longer than we think?

I feel awful for those children. Their mother is a mess and their father is (at least allegedly) a paedophile. People on here sometimes slag off Peter Andre, but at least the two children she has with him are decently looked after. And say what you like about him, he has a stable second marriage. Some of Katie's fans still blame Peter for her problems to this day, which is ludicrous.

Apparently they are living with her. God knows where they are while she’s off getting engaged in Dubai though.

You have to question the bloke’s sanity.

unfortunatly, I don’t think she will get the help she needs as she’s too famous, like Britney
