in your family?

February is easily ours.
I can think of 7 Feb birthdays without trying.
We have no birthdays in January or August though.

September.

Puffalicious · 05/01/2026 16:40

September is the most populous as it's 9/10 months after Christmas nights out/ Christmas. I think that explains all you need to know 😅. DS1 is September 😆.

pambeesleyhalpert · 05/01/2026 16:40

November

SteviesNicks · 05/01/2026 16:42

So by @Puffalicious reckoning,
@pambeesleyhalpert 's November is 9 months after Valentine's Day... 🤔😆

September. Every year I am shocked, appalled and traumatised by the last 2 weeks of September / first week October.
I work in maternity, and was contemplating adding condoms to my Christmas cards.

Fends · 05/01/2026 16:43

26 September is the most birthdays I believe

babylamb4 · 05/01/2026 16:43

Oh no, I've just found out I'm pregnant and due mid September 🫣 Already feeling nervous about giving birth despite it being my third child. Last two times were fairly traumatic. Is it really that much worse in Sept, like dangerously so...?

HeadyLamarr · 05/01/2026 16:48

By population, September.

My own family has a 6 week cluster across December - January and another one April - May; each has 7 or 8 family birthdays in it.

overwork · 05/01/2026 16:50

We have 3 (including mine) on the same day in December

Here you go. From the Office of National Statistics here - https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/livebirths/articles/howpopularisyourbirthday/2015-12-18

For me personally and my friends/family, September is the most dense birthday month, then June.

May. My mother was one of six and apart from her sister, who was born in February, they were all born in the first week of May. Most of my cousins were also born in May or February.

ThisWeekIAhBeenMostlyEatinTrifle · 05/01/2026 17:06

My aunt and uncle clearly used to enjoy their early summer holiday every year - their three children all have birthdays in the same week in March!

isitmytime · 05/01/2026 17:08

December and June jointly in immediate family if I include DP, family December wins. Too much celebrating the new year!

My boy is September and this made me laugh so much.

BillieWiper · 05/01/2026 17:13

In general it's September and October and August are also quite high. Xmas day is the lowest!

My mum said it was coz everyone was shagging on Valentine's Day so 9 months later, lots of kids!

There's no pattern really in my family.

SteviesNicks · 05/01/2026 17:13

I have a September born!
DC2 was due first week of October, but was born 3 weeks early so mid September birthday.

September. My husband, best friend (same date) and sister-in-law. Expensive month!
