We're sitting under duvets to give the heating a break!

20 degrees . I’d happily have it a bit lower but I’m outnumbered on that one.

I haven't put the heating on at all today, although its freezing outside. I think we peaked at a balmy 1⁰C today. I'll have to put the heating on tonight though. That or dress like an Eskimo.

16.5 and have just pressed the boost to warm it up a bit!

It's currently at 15.8°C. The heating's on (set to 18°C) but it will struggle to get up to that as it's so cold outside. This house is fecking freezing 🥶

19C - but lower when the retriever isn’t here.

I have the smart thermostat set at 21, so assume that's what it is.

Thermostat is set for 20 degrees but its bloody freezing 🥶. I'm wearing 3 layers (top, jumper and a thick fleece) plus two pairs of socks 🤣 also extra blankets on the beds overnight

17.9, supposed to be 18.5 but can’t make it does to how cold it is

19. I switched to just having it on 19 degrees 24hrs a day last year. It's on less than it used to be and no one is cold.

Example day from last week and today. On more today as it's -7 here 🥶

18.5 with the heating on but we've also lit the fire so it'll be warmer in the lounge. I have 3 jumpers on!

17.5. Just given it another boost. Currently in bed under duvet with electric base blanket on.

17.5. I’ve had it on that all day otherwise it just drops to below 15 and takes ages to warm up again.

Landing/ hallway is at 14c, kitchen is probably 12c and the living room is about 19c. Kids, 6, 3 and 10 months all playing in shirts and leggings.

"Shut the door" is a popular saying in this house in winter!

Just turned the heating on.

17 the heating is wood fired. So I think it might struggle tonight. Bedrooms are warmer though.

18 at the moment and the thermostat increases to 19 at 5pm till 11pm. Feels perfectly fine with a cardigan on. It's 1 outside, the ice in the back garden hasn't melted all day.

Heating hasn't been off since Friday.

14.5. Half the house is shut down and heating on in a few rooms to try and get it up higher.

It's and old draughty Victorian house with original windows. Curtains are shut.

I have a friend who is from Scandinavia and she likes her flat HOT. I was there yesterday and it was 29 degrees C. Now I realise why she moans about her heating bills. I nearly expired and felt quite faint at how warm it was.

13. I'm so cold, can't wait for the heating to kick on at 5.30, I've been WFH with gloves on and a hot water bottle on my lap! I won't put it on when I'm here alone in the day. Popping out to buy a little heater for my office later!
