Just for fun!
One thing that I feel just makes me superior than most is that I am a twin mum. Can’t really explain it except that I feel like superwoman for growing 2 babies myself at once

one thing that will make me think you are cooler than most of if you’re left handed, no idea why, I just know I always wanted to be left handed when I was a kid😂

My synesthesia son is a super sniffer. His job at junior school was to sniff all the lost property each term and return it to their rightful owner. He was very good, they used to give him a little prize for his services.
On the flip side I changed ketchup brand without warning and tried to pass it off as Heinz and he went beyond screaming mad about it. I couldn’t tell the difference at all.

Oh my god I love that so much. My DD often says ‘oh that smells like xxx’ with scents, but that’s another level.

tara66 · 30/12/2025 06:27

I survived and ''dodged a bullet''.

When I sit on the floor with my legs outstretched, I can easily put the soles of my feet flat on the floor.

I can do that too! Everyone says "oh that's easy" until they try to do it 😆

Brassknucks · 30/12/2025 06:39

I gave birth without pain relief of any kind to a 12lb baby.

Negroany · 30/12/2025 06:56

I have no cellulite or stretch marks.

My DP is an identical twin, except he is left handed and his brother is not.

I can play electric guitar - I haven't played in a long time but I got my guitar out yesterday and I learned the heavy metal version of a KPOP demon hunters song. It was a really nice moment to show my little ones and I think I might have earned some cool mum points.

My parallel parking is impeccable 👌

I'm jealous! Wish mine was 😁

I’m the world’s best at spelling. However, no one cares 😉

Bet you double checked and then checked again before you posted this! 😁

I have a vivid memory of my own childhood, but like @Shedeboodinia , my short term memory is terrible.

I can wear trainers without socks with no ill-effects at all, all year round.

I am double jointed in one arm, and can put it all the way round my head, to touch my ear on the same side.

As a child (less so now), I had excellent directional hearing. I was so good at the game “keeper of the keys” where I had to point at someone creeping towards me, that nobody could get past me at all. The teacher made a point of blindfolding me extra tightly, and made me swear I couldn’t see a thing; but I could hear people breathing as they crept up.

Same! I am beyond proud of being a twin mum! They’re strapping young men now, but when they were little babies an older lady came over to me in a cafe when I was feeding them and said “How wonderful! Aren’t you marvellous!” It had been a tricky day and she made me feel wonderful 🥰

BastardtheCat · 30/12/2025 07:23

I’m very manipulative but only use this for the greater good. At work, home, socially, random strangers, I can get them to do what I want. I worked in medical sales for years and made a fortune in commission and target rewards.

I speak 3 languages fluently.

People always open up to me - I’m an excellent listener - even those I’ve only just met.

I have naturally dark, thick, straight hair that I never blow dry, straighten or dye (yet). I feel quite smug about all the time and effort I save. However pride comes before a fall and I suspect the greys will start to properly come soon.

DS is left-handed, with dark orange hair and utterly superb knowledge of all things space and maths. He's pretty cool!

My hair is like this and is going grey but the greys are still really straight too and not frizzy!

I always wonder how much time I save not having to do my hair. I just wash and wrap in a towel and brush and its super straight.

Diesel10sbum99 · 30/12/2025 07:26

Had a nervous breakdown earlier this year so had to stop working, but through that I taught myself to make money online and have saved a not insignificant (to me) amount for a round the world trip.
I’m sure I’m not unique in that but I am proud of myself.

Womaninhouse17 · 30/12/2025 07:28

I don't eat junk food, takeaways or ready meals. I love fruit and vegetables, cook everything from scratch and think my diet is better than that of anyone I know.

OneSharpGoose · 30/12/2025 07:28

I make the most incredible cheese scones. I don't know why they're so wonderful, I'm lactose intolerant and have never eaten any of them. If I wasn't being cremated when my time comes, my headstone would read "Best Cheese Scone Maker ever" Plus I'm left handed. What a woman!

Reality · 30/12/2025 07:33

I self published a book this year on a whim and it’s sold over a thousand copies on Amazon.

I can do handstands and pull ups and the splits.

I can put my hand in without looking and pick out the exact number I need of something (paper clips, tags, marbles etc).

I am really sensitive to other people’s emotions and I can tell when they don’t like me even if they are really good at pretending. I’ve been proved right on that so many times. But it also means if someone is upset, or tells me about a loss, I will cry. Which is a bit embarrassing. Even complete strangers. I work with the public so it happens fairly often.

Boobyslims · 30/12/2025 07:35

I am excellent at reading the room. I can feel the true intentions and vibe, I can tell who secretly likes who, who got together years previously, it’s plain as day to my see. I am never wrong. It amazed me other people couldn’t for a long time. I’d actually forgotten I do this!

Rituelec · 30/12/2025 07:38

Frankiecat2 · 30/12/2025 00:23

When I read, I don’t read word by word, or even really line by line, but sort of read blocks of text all at once. Which means I read things really quickly. I think I don’t always retain everything well. But I can if I need to.

I do this too so I read a page in one go.

iloveeverykindofcat · 30/12/2025 07:45

I'm immune to Covid. I have a fantastic immune system in general, I never get viruses or infections. I have other problems (namely, osteoarthritis in some joints from extreme hypermobility), but as far as things that can get into and infect my body, my immune system just - kills them.

I did absolutely nothing to accomplish this but still feel like I did something.

buttonsdude · 30/12/2025 07:47

I'm left handed and have hitch hikers thumb. I also have partial heterochromia although as I've got older this has became far less noticeable 😞 when I was younger people would comment on my unusual eyes and a photographer studio had a photo of my eyes on their wall

Same here. I've never eaten a ready meal, I last had a takeaway over 30 years ago and that was just chippy chips. I've never been in McDonalds, KFC etc in my entire life. The problem is, people never believe you when you say it.

Appleseason · 30/12/2025 07:51

I can still do the splits

DigitalNomad2 · 30/12/2025 07:55

I surf and snowboard. I think that's a pretty cool combination.

You might get a mix. My dad is left handed, I am right handed but I taught myself to crochet left handed to teach a cousin (leftie) to crochet.

I find it interesting the things my dad can't d0, eg he can only use a spoon in his left hand. He apologised to me for it so I used my left hand to eat.

If I use a camera or telescope I use my left eye.
