Just for fun!
One thing that I feel just makes me superior than most is that I am a twin mum. Can’t really explain it except that I feel like superwoman for growing 2 babies myself at once

one thing that will make me think you are cooler than most of if you’re left handed, no idea why, I just know I always wanted to be left handed when I was a kid😂

I can play the drums. And I complete the NY times crossword every day. I’m a happy little nerd.

A happy little drummer nerd!

Justbreathagain · 30/12/2025 00:04

I always know what time it is, without checking a watch or clock. I always estimate it within 10 mins. It's weird

Stumbleine · 30/12/2025 00:05

Also left handed.

I am very good at making up parody songs (my midwifery version of Paramore's 'Misery Business' is exceptional).

I’m a leftie and I have a very high IQ. Just wish I could use those superpowers for good rather than evil 👹

I too have a high IQ. However, I've only remembered this having read your reply. It was so long ago I was tested that it's lost all importance to me!

That’s how sad I am, that it is important to me but isn’t something to bring up IRL
conversation 😀

I am ambidextrous and used to make 3ltrs of breastmilk every day, lots of it was donated for the 6 months DS was in hospital for, the nurses called me Daisy.

Moo.

Not me directly but somehow raised kids who adore each other.. just heard DD12 and DD16 shout "love you" to each other before shutting their bedroom doors for the night 😍

ManyPigeons · 30/12/2025 00:15

I have won 4 pub quizzes alone and usually when people ask random questions… like why somewhere is called something or why a certain word means something… I often know the answer. To a rather strange degree and oftentimes I think the answer is common knowledge and it turns out it’s not.

Also, not one YET, but I will soon have a BA, MA and BSc. So nobody can argue with me about whether it’s harder to have an art or science degree because I will say ‘well I have both’. So long as I don’t massively mess up of course (chickens, hatched and all that).

OneRealOpalPanda · 30/12/2025 00:16

A weird one but the fact I am not religious makes me feel superior in an odd way sometimes when people don’t seem to totally understand how I can have moral principles without religion

I work in a catholic school but with a high amount of of African Christian students and also Muslim students and the underlying politics are wild

You win!

Shedeboodinia · 30/12/2025 00:20

I m really good at directions. I usually can make my way to anywhere in any city and remember routes having driven them only once.
I have amazing long term memory and can remember fine details of when I was 2 onwards.

My facial recognition is absolutely awful though and my short term memory is terrible . its weird as I will often misplace keys or money etc but then 24 hours later I remember exactly where I put them once it gets to a longer term memory..

I used to be good at spelling but now after working daily on computers and using autospell for years I have to check simple words now as my brain isnt retaining the correct spellings.

ManyPigeons · 30/12/2025 00:21

Oh and if I pinch my nose and close my mouth I can blow air out of my eyeball. It makes a sound.

The left one. If I can just figure out how to pull air IN then nobody would be able to suffocate me.

tobee · 30/12/2025 00:21

Pretty much everything really

GaudySocks · 30/12/2025 00:21

I can wear any item of clothing and make it look scruffy. It’s a gift.

Frankiecat2 · 30/12/2025 00:23

When I read, I don’t read word by word, or even really line by line, but sort of read blocks of text all at once. Which means I read things really quickly. I think I don’t always retain everything well. But I can if I need to.

Clafoutie · 30/12/2025 00:24

I always seem to win raffles

Fifisneighbor · 30/12/2025 00:24

I’m a left- handed twin mum. Also I’m 61 years old and still have my original hair colour — no grey hair yet.

Platypus7 · 30/12/2025 00:26

I was a teenager in Manchester in the 90s. Always seems to impress people and makes me seem way cooler than I actually am!

Busyasabumblebee · 30/12/2025 00:26

You guys are all amazing. I have the ability to know how people are feeling. I look at them and just know. And whenever I check it with them I’m always right. It really unnerves some people

DefiniteMeteor · 30/12/2025 00:26

My kids can and have always been able to sit nicely in a restaurant and eat a meal without any electronic devices.

Stbernadettesteacher · 30/12/2025 00:26

I can read upside down.
Years of reading to small children at work.

CookieCrumbles23 · 30/12/2025 00:27

I can make a mountain out of a molehill! Honestly, give me any small problem and I’ll double the hell of that problem.

Can’t find my shoes? Day ruined!
Slight cough? I’m dying!

People are very impressed by it. My husband even said the other day “I’ve never known anyone to take something so small and make it into something so big” 😏. Talent!

Oh, I’m very good at working well within a small timeframe. In fact, I thrive.

EstoyRobandoSuCasa · 30/12/2025 00:28

I can get people at work to do anything I want. Even if they don't work directly for me. Doesn't matter the level they are either. I can just get people on board and they want to help. It's a massive skill that's helped me smash my career.

@ChasingTheDuck , how do you do this? E.g. are you very smiley and approachable? Is your enthusiasm contagious? Or, do you make everyone feel important and then ask for their help?

MarxistMags · 30/12/2025 00:28

No, you're not.
I am. 😆

JBS26 · 30/12/2025 00:29

I can tell you what the time is without looking at a clock. I just seem to know!
