Just for fun!
One thing that I feel just makes me superior than most is that I am a twin mum. Can’t really explain it except that I feel like superwoman for growing 2 babies myself at once

one thing that will make me think you are cooler than most of if you’re left handed, no idea why, I just know I always wanted to be left handed when I was a kid😂

Ooh, I have synthesesia too, but the more common colour-grapheme one. Also calendar-space synthesesia.

Me too! What letters are your favourite colours? Did it affect your name choices for your kids (if you have any)?

I am incredible at reversing. I know it’s not ideal but I can reverse endlessly with no adjustments just by looking in one wide mirror as a guide. (Obv I check all mirrors for safety but i don’t need to). I live in the country and spend a lot of time reversing down country roads, quite often other drivers are very grateful and impressed.

I’m the same! I can reverse, reverse park into tight spaces and judge distances and space well. So when everyone else is slowly edging through a gap on exit of a car park or similar, I can whiz through - and my car is wide.

Squirrelsnut · 30/12/2025 08:46

Very little genuinely bothers me (I'm talking everyday things, not war crimes!). I'm ridiculously chill.

LancashireButterPie · 30/12/2025 08:48

I can ride a motorbike and tow a caravan.

DH and I play along with university challenge every week and always win, even though they have 4 people on their team and it's just the 2 of us.

I/we have raised kids that love each other.

I bake the best shortbread.

Blodwynne · 30/12/2025 08:48

I have the hair of 3 people. 3 people with the same kind of hair. on one person.
I can tell if the water's just boiled from the sound as it pours from a kettle into a mug?
I'm a very good shot. I have natural "grouping".

@RunSwimSpin
Sounds v cool! How do you know about the song and why are they writing about you?

Was it You're So Vain? Grin

ChelseaBagger · 30/12/2025 08:53

These are all things that I'm very envious of! Twins are SOO special (I'm not an idiot, I understand it must be so difficult at times, twin mums are literal superheroes).

I was always desperate to be left handed, to the extent I spent hours practising writing with my left hand. Alas - I'm most firmly 100% right-handed. Not even a hint of being passably ambidextrous.

I would settle even for "normal" hair - I have the sort of hair that hairdressers very confidently assume they can massively improve, only to look very confused an hour later when it's even worse 🤣🤣

I never lose my temper, have never shouted at anyone. Children and animals come to me like I’m the pied piper.

Animals always come to me too! I have always wondered why.

Puffalicious · 30/12/2025 08:55

PP has reminded me that my independence makes me cool! I'm talking arriving in Bangkok when young, on my own & just getting on with it- had made 2 mates on the bus on the way from the airport. This was when not many folk arrived in Bangkok. Did it again & again in many countries.

My 4, older siblings are NOT like this at all. They are home-bodies. I have no idea why I had the desire to travel or why I'm so independent. DS1 is exactly like me.

I also had the ability to always meet/ attract the good guys. I read the stories on MN & hear from friends, & I can't wrap my head around how crap many men are. I have had many boyfriends/ relationships, & whilst a few were a bit blah, I have never met a bad one. Ex-DH is a great guy (amazing dad), we were just unsuited, & DP is a total diamond. I wish all my friends had this ability & we could keep all the shitty ones at bay.

I always know what time it is, without checking a watch or clock. I always estimate it within 10 mins. It's weird

Me too , and my sister. Also Jack Reacher, I believe!

Not a thing. I am spectacularly average at everything. Looks, talent, career, lifestyle, finances.

You are blessed.

Pigtailsandall · 30/12/2025 08:56

I've travelled alone from Cape Town to Cairo, and from Mexico City to Tierra del Fuego (both before smartphones too)

My kind of gal. I did my travel before smart phones too, & some if it before mobiles at all!

GoodNewsAndBadNews · 30/12/2025 08:59

I can untangle things - wool, laces etc

CaseClosedWineOpened · 30/12/2025 09:02

I am left handed, can solve a Rubik’s cube in 2 mins, do cryptic crosswords, name all 50 US states and run 5k in under 25 mins.

From other posts: I would have loved to have had twins. I wish I could speak another language, sing well and play an instrument. I also really wish I had thick bouncy hair that requires no effort. Lots of very cool people 😎

My friend can sniff milk and then cry it. If she’s sick, it comes out of her eye too.

I don't know whether to be impressed or feel sick.

squashyhat · 30/12/2025 09:06

Maybe not everyone else, but I'm very proud of the fact that, after two grade Es and a U at O'level in the 1970s, I finally passed Maths GCSE with a grade 5 two years ago. What's more I really enjoyed it! Can't remember a thing now though Hmm

And I'm left handed and had bright auburn hair as a kid. Still do but it's 'enhanced' nowadays.

Snap! Our kids used to think I was cheating, somehow. Always within 3 or 4 minutes.

I’m ambidextrous
I secretly learnt Welsh to surprise my DH (a Welshman)
I’ve befriended 2 crows and a rook who now come when I whistle and feed from my hand!

I am desperate to befriend crows, this is so, so cool.

That’s how sad I am, that it is important to me but isn’t something to bring up IRL
conversation 😀

Me too. Mine is way above the threshold for MENSA membership. But nobody IRL would believe me if I told them this as I am not a high achiever, have a shockingly poor memory and can appear quite slow at times. Inside though, my brain is working away furiously, slotting things into place and making random connections.

My killer cheekbones.

Same here, people have asked me if I have had implants!

StuffyHuffyPuffy · 29/12/2025 23:12

After two DC and getting on in age, I can still hold in my pee for aaaaaages.

DH and I are right handed. All parents and grandparents were right handed. Both DC are left handed.

Cystitis incoming.

I have a really wierd type of synesthesia, I can smell numbers and taste certain words

Wow!! Care to explain a bit more? Loving this thread 🤩

wherethewildrosesgrow · 30/12/2025 09:10

I can write mirror image just a quickly as I can the correct way.
particularly useful for writing obscenities to the person brushing their teeth in the sink.
Also left handed, in fact all the females in my family are, Grandmother, Mother me, all of my daughters, four nieces (father, my brother, is RH).

LeftoversAgain · 30/12/2025 09:12

Twin mum here, single parent since they were 1 due to abusive ex. Has been 10 years now and both really happy and well adjusted. Left handed. Im great at picking presents and getting on with people! Wish I could be as great as travel stuff as loads here are!
