Just horrendous. There was a big Jewish gathering on the beach. Jewish festival goers targeted by two gunmen. At least ten people dead according to police.

@Lifesd Australia desperately needs a wake up call in this regard.

They were shooting at people attending a Hannukah event. It's disgusting that you're trying to pretend this wasn't a targeted attack. No wonder Jews feel unsafe around the world with people like you excusing their murders.

I'm very sorry for all of those who have been affected by this. For those who have been injured and lost their lives, obviously, and of course their loved ones. But also for the many other people around the world who will understandably be feeling under threat today because of this horrific attack.

It was an advertised as Chanukah by the sea, a family event on Bondi Beach.

How much more evidence do you need? Apologists like you simply serve to legitimise the terrorists.

TBH I’m surprised someone hasn’t come on here yet and posted something about Israel’s actions in Gaza being part of the problem in justification.

The fact is that if you’re shooting jewish people at an event for a Jewish holiday then it is antisemitic, and anyone who tries to argue differently is clearly part of the narrative so is best ignored.

It shows the absolute worst of humanity but also the very best, as demonstrated by that brave man who wrestled the gun away and prevented more injury or loss of life occurring.

They said the same on the BBC, that the police are still working in the area to investigate reports of IEDs.
