I think I’m with the rudest family in the world

Not only have they made a family meal and all sat down round the table to eat it whilst ignoring me completely, they are all farting and burping away.

I’ve done the only thing I can and retreated to the sofa that is farthest away from the table. I have not been invited to sit down anywhere or offered a drink.

How do I fucking leave politely???

My cat can tell the time
Five to ten, every night, on the dot, she comes to stare at me with her judgy face wondering where her supper is.

You are the rude one. I was told that if a family were having a meal you politely leave. Unless you are invited to stay and eat with them. Anc even then its a bit cheeky.

More importantly, why are you still there if you're not eating with them? Go home!
