No but I have quite high standards on human rights.

user1471538275 · 26/11/2025 22:44

No. Never.

StewkeyBlue · 26/11/2025 22:44

No way

Octavia64 · 26/11/2025 22:45

Do they even do tourist visas?

sprigatito · 26/11/2025 22:45

Hell no

rainbowunicorn · 26/11/2025 22:51

No. I would never visit a country with such a poor human and particular women's rights history. Anyone that pays money to go there should be ashamed. It is a disgusting country.

ExperiencedTeacher · 26/11/2025 22:52

Nope

Mumsgirls · 26/11/2025 22:53

No . Buy visiting you condone a lot of appalling things.

Iwantsandybeachesandgoodfood · 26/11/2025 22:56

Not in a million years! There are many amazing theme parks all over the world. Why on earth would you choose there?

BlakeCarrington · 26/11/2025 22:58

No way

Lochroy · 26/11/2025 22:58

Fuck that. Awful in so many ways.

Do they even do tourist visas?

Yes, they have done for a few years now.

Jijithecat · 26/11/2025 23:00

I wouldn't because I don't think my values align.

On a completely different note, I also couldn't cope with the heat. It's hard enough staying comfortable in a European theme park on a really hot day, nevermind Saudi Arabia.

I'm hoping to go in February!

HiCandles · 26/11/2025 23:02

Wouldn't even enter my head. If I was to travel for a theme park, it would be within Europe, unless already planning a longer haul holiday eg USA

DarkSunrise · 26/11/2025 23:03

No

No but I have quite high standards on human rights.

in fairness I don't think you need to have particularly high standards on human rights to swerve on Saudi Arabia.

No from me too.

DeadsoulsAngel · 26/11/2025 23:05

No. For all the reasons above.

ProfessorBinturong · 26/11/2025 23:06

Absolutely not.

Bananafofana · 26/11/2025 23:06

No. The heat (or if it’s inside like Dubai ones - incredibly gloomy and depressing). That and Jamal Khasoggi. Read an account of his execution and dismemberment with a bone saw and think about if you’d like to set foot in a country where that kind of extra judicial killing can be sanctioned (even if MBS didn’t know about it as he claimed this week!)

AceKitten · 26/11/2025 23:06

i Must admit I don’t know know much about their human rights
I don’t know how life is out here

suppise tho uk is hardly innocent, but I suppose alot of a the dark uk stuff was from along long time ago

nevwr felt unsafe in Dubai
in fact actually felt v safe there but I just can’t really imagine Saudi

To go to a six flags? Absolutely not.

There might be some unique experiences or needs that justify going to countries with terrible human rights records, but an amusement park isn't one.

AceKitten · 26/11/2025 23:07

Who or what is MBS never heard of it

OP posts:
BlakeCarrington · 26/11/2025 23:08

I think MBS definitely knew @Bananafofana, probably ordered the execution himself. I think anyone would have to be completely morally bankrupt to go there.
