Not in a million years

No. It’s just not worth the risk. In the same way I wouldn’t go to Russia!

Does this theme park feature torture chambers and an execution suite?

I've been to Russia and loved it. If you can catch it between mad dictators it's a great place. Rather large 'if' though.

Surely it's easier to go to a Six Flags in the US? Female tourists I suspect are not going to have a great time in Saudi outside of a tourist area.

Saudi has changed enormously in a very short period of time. DH works out there quite a bit. I'd go if I were you.

You suspect wrong.

No, never, nor UAE, Qatar or other similar. That said I wouldnt choose to holiday in countries which are about conspicuous consumption either, I’ve not heard a single thing about Dubai that doesn’t involve spending money on stuff, or frivolous things. (I like history, old architecture etc so Jordan and Oman interest me more)

@Elektra1 so true. I know of a nanny (friends sisters friend) who was raped by her employer in Qatar and was helped to escape. Qatar government (don’t know via what department) gave her a one off payment to not go to the press, the payment was enough to buy a house plus many years wages for where she’s from, I don’t know who her employer was, I’m guessing someone who would embarrass the country if got out. She and the subsequent child are doing great thankfully
