A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙* *

We are bracing for the budget. 😬

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I think something like quarter of a million people left the UK. That's such a huge number compared to normal times.

I wonder what was mean income / wealth of those leavers... can bet they took significant amount of tax contributions with them

It’s what some wanted. Any indication it could happen was met with the usual.

Even Labour aren’t stupid enough to say me commie you commie let’s be friends.. are they?

If you can imagine it, it is possible with Starmer and co.

For sure - and the Labour appeasers were keen to shout ‘don’t let the door hit you in the arse on the way out’.

Staggering stupidity.

Based on their actions since being elected I'd say they are that stupid. My concern, though, is they're driven by something far more sinister because for all their protestations to the contrary, they have driven the UK economy and infrastructures to the ground.

They lied to gain power and they're still lying.

This podcast at about 16 minutes in is really interesting. It’s about Torsten Bau, The Resolution Foundation and “distributional analysis”. It’s driven all decisions to be seen as whether it benefits the poor. Benefitting other groups just doesn’t matter. And now we have no growth.

Yes its hard to believe that there is no bigger agenda at play with this Government. Personally i think they have a ideological mission to change the fabric of the UK's way of life.

The Parliamentary Labour Party and their Constituency Associations are so bad that we are generally 'surprised', when a current Labour MP conveys a sentence that makes sense.

The days when the likes of Jack straw, Kate Hoey , Barbara Castle or even Graham Stringer would by chosen to become a prospective MP are long gone.

The four MP's mentioned are/were intelligent people who could analyse look at facts and come to a considered opinion (whether that was or was not to our liking). What we have now are Labour MP's that are chosen firstly for how many boxes can be tick in DEI. The second reason they are chosen is because the party know they have no opinions nor 'knowledge' that cannot be shaped by the executive of the party. This therefore leads to the election of 'yes' people who will never earn the salary of an MP ever again. This is the domain of Shop Stewards within Unions, who get a promotion to becoming an MP as an award for doing as they are told or not rocking the 'boat'

Therefore the lack of critical thinking or knowledge of new/recent Labour MP's is seen as a beneficial. This in order to go along with the desired destruction of British society longed for by those at the top of the party.

I agree with this but I think changing the fabric of the UK’s way of life has been a desire on the left for a long time.
Seeing it happen in Russia and China gave those on the left hope it could happen in UK and if we haven’t had violent revolution nonetheless the long march through the institutions has been successful.

  • going back to the jewellery idea my first thought was the nazis during the war.

Can anyone imagine the far left protests if a Tory government had dared to suggest taking personal items off migrants ?

It beggars belief.

I'm totally against people coming here on bits and self selecting themselves and forcing us to take them however the idea we take what little valuable they have is abhorrent.

redange · 18/11/2025 22:52

Some absolute desperate stuff from Labour and the Left talking about what Farage allegedly said nearly 50 years ago at Dulwich College !

It Is obvious now where 'brain box' Lammy got his Hitler Youth not realizing that the 1970 s are 30 years after the 2nd World War Ended

Nigel Farage accused of racism and antisemitism while at school - The Mirror

This is absurd and there is no evidence apart from a 'stupid' Leftie who needs to get a life. The fact that Labour MP Anna Turley has demanded answers from a than 13 year old Nigel Farage words is a new low in the 'pathetic nature of the Labour Party'. Is that the best dirt they have on Farage Comical. They have Fraudsters, Phone Thief's C.V Liars a Niece to a Prime Minister Convicted of Crimes against Humanity. There are also a number of rumors about Dear Leader. Yet they bring up stories from the playground 50 years ago.

Nigel Farage accused of racism and antisemitism while at school

The Reform UK leader is facing fresh allegations over his time at Dulwich college in south London, with his peers claiming he made pro-Hitler comments and joked about gas chambers

@OrangesCinammonIvy

But you don’t have to look back 50 years.
You have a similar manipulative leader who used the term ‘piggy’ to describe a female journalist. News headline yesterday. Imagine if Starmer said that?
Tim Davie was a Conservative Party candidate. Imagine if our next director general was a Labour Party candidate. Which political leaning would be up in arms?

Was the piggy comment discussed here yesterday? It was headline news.

There is a particular political leaning that which tends to deem words like piggy acceptable - and their followers either gloss over, brush under carpet or think misogyny is perfectly acceptable and should be tolerated.

Trump is a misogynist in my view.

Labour still isnt working.

TenLittleSweetWrappers · 19/11/2025 07:04

@SouthernAccents

Trump is a misogynist in my view too.

Farage has made comments fairly recently where he ‘sides’ with Andrew Tate.

Which political leaning is more likely to side with misogyny?

Is this not important when Farage is looming extremely large on the horizon, or do we ignore that?

If Labour isn’t working - what will work?

Rivalled · 19/11/2025 07:08

I was dismayed about the taking jewellery stuff from immigrants - weren’t we promised grown ups? We need to have a better bloody plan and more robust systems than a climate of fear.

reform the courts, reform tbe benefits, have a credible thread of return, and stay away from populist eye catching gimmicks with holocaust echoes…once again, Labour in a hurry to look busy…

oh and lovely tanking markets again, thanks Reeves! The economic uncertainty continues!

OrangesCinammonIvy · 19/11/2025 07:08

Id say Definatly labour re misogyny.
Obviously calling anyone piggy is unacceptable

However there would have been violent protests if any Tory had suggested removing jewlelry from migrants.

CruCru · 19/11/2025 07:10

Yes, the taking jewellery bit is rather strange - mainly because jewellery has a fairly low resale value and is pretty easy to hide. It comes across as spiteful and petty.

Rivalled · 19/11/2025 07:10

Nobody seriously doubts Trump is the kind of d1ck who thinks his 19th c brothel running ancestor did nothing seriously wrong. Things happen…people keep likening him to a medieval monarch but he’s turning the clock back to the ‘great’ age of a few billionaires controlling America, whilst building a new American empire of client states through AI.

TenLittleSweetWrappers · 19/11/2025 07:11

@OrangesCinammonIvy

Can you give some recent examples of a Labour Party leader using terms such as ‘quiet piggy’ or stating that Andrew Tate is an important male voice?
Or anything on that scale?

TenLittleSweetWrappers · 19/11/2025 07:13

Farage described Andrew Tate as an important male voice btw.

EasternStandard · 19/11/2025 07:15

I prefer to not give various things line space as there’s other threads for that.

Just hearing more about people leaving this morning, not sounding good.

TenLittleSweetWrappers · 19/11/2025 07:17

This was fairly recent too:

“Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party received another blow Tuesday in its election campaign after a candidate resigned from the party and accused it of racism and misogyny.
Georgie David, the party’s candidate in West Ham and Beckton in East London, announced Tuesday she was suspending her campaign and joining the Conservatives.”

Isn’t that what Labour voters wanted though? See you, take your taxes with you etc? Erm, they were warned those with skills and the productive young would leave. Why wouldn’t you?

Ik it’s exactly what they were after. That tax loss will impact all of us, plus job losses.
