Is it a dead snowman?

Looks like it. Its the obvious lump of glue that the stick is held in by that really makes it special ....

HelpMySocksAreTouchingMe · 30/11/2025 17:08

I love this thread, I look forward to it every year just for the centrepiece of nothing else!!

rainbowunicorn22 · 30/11/2025 18:52

Grim

I really think these conjoined snowmen deserved some more love.

The empty jar sent me over the edge.

He looks itchy. Could he made of a leftover square of astroturf?

Selling loo roll inners on EBay is often suggested as a way of earning extra cash on MSE . I assume you need lots of space to store enough to make it worthwhile.

Flogging on the Covid debris. Wish I’d stripped the shelves of toilet roll now.

SIL gave us this one year - it plays Dancing around the Christmas tree whilst dancing and spinning - its actually very funny IRL.

HelloDenise · 01/12/2025 15:34

I ordered two of those cats!

Wow. Really nasty and bitchy thread.

Some of those stuff is really nice and even the stuff that isn't os clearly made by people trying to earn a few extra quid.

Noone is making you buy it and I think.its really scummy to make and contribute to such a nasty thread.

I'm sure plenty will reply to this telling me to ignore it if i don't like it (as you could have done yourselves about people putting themselves out there) but maybe one or two of you will feel the shame you should about being so nasty just to feel like you're having a cool-girl bitch fest.

Grow the fuck up.

You make this crap don't you.

johntorodesfatcheeks · 01/12/2025 19:18

This horror appeared on my Facebook feed tonight.

Londonmummy66 · 01/12/2025 19:36

@johntorodesfatcheeks - the Selfridges royal family baubles were featured as a "best buy" in the Sunday Times supplement yesterday - £15 each - they're all awful

Mothership4two · 01/12/2025 19:42

That's truly awful @johntorodesfatcheeks , I must buy one!

Mothership4two · 01/12/2025 19:45

You make this crap don't you.

Is that a question? It's hard to tell when you didn't use a question mark.

You're also not the first person to make that comment. Didn't you read other posts first to find out you aren't as original as you thought you were or were you just too excited to jump straight on me with your witty and cutting insight? 👏

RendeersDancingTowardsChristmas · 01/12/2025 20:32

@johntorodesfatcheeks I had to look twice! I think it's the Turkey Teeth that got me.

Mothership4two · 02/12/2025 04:39

@AngelinaFibres

You make this crap don't you.

You'd think a poster who berates others for being 'mean' would realise it's not a good look for them to lay into others? Pot/kettle? Actually I think you made a valid point regarding their oversensitivity.

Ironic that Angelina fibres are crafting supplies.

Mostly the listings are pretty good, decent looking homemade things.
This, however, is in a league of its own.

What even is this? A festive saveloy?

Disturbia81 · 04/12/2025 16:03

PInkyStarfish · 29/11/2025 17:16

People have had all year to look up FREE tutorials to make NICE things to sell the following Christmas if they are hard up. A whole year to learn new skills, save items to craft with and to practice.

Then their efforts would be appreciated and people would buy from them.

Just churning out some lame crap without any real thought put into it, or effort or skill, just gathering a load of crap and gluing it on things in the name of Christmas, quite frankly deserves to be ridiculed.

But people do buy these things.. They aren’t my taste but I have a job which means I see all walks of life and so many items in this thread are popular, especially the edible stuff.
