Hmm, I have 2 theories:

1. She didn't think his mum fit in her shallow aesthetic, based on the photos I've seen of the guests and the do as a whole.
2. His mum doesn't necessarily approve of the partnership- looking at the timeline described in the article, from when they met to when they apparently got together, I wouldn't be surprised if his mum had sided more with the mother of his child.

Before anyone says, if you don't know who they are, read the article. Yes there are more important things to worry about in the world, I can think about more than one thing at a time.
This is purely my opinion, so hopefully I can't be sued.

I just read he's changed his name to Ramsay-Peaty. It sounds bizarre.

I wonder if she’s changing her name. Given his sons a Peaty surely they should all have that last name, whether it’s Ramsay-Peaty or Peaty alone.

I wonder how Bethany is getting on with her parents. Might have been an interesting Xmas day dinner.

Sounds similar to what is happening with the Beckhams. I wonder how D&V feel with them being on the other view point.
