Brands you (unreasonably) dislike?

I was thinking about this tonight as I parked next to a Renault SUV. It’s completely unreasonable but I’ve never liked the brand since someone I know once said ‘it’s like driving a bin on wheels’. Even though I’m sure the brand is perfectly fine (and very popular) it’s stuck in my head. Apologies to all Renault drivers!

I’ve got other brands I unreasonably dislike too but do you have any?

I like Surcare as other fabric conditioners are too smelly, even the sensitive ones. It’s not always easy to track down. It’s brilliant.
I understand the Morrisons hate. Our ‘ local ‘ one is more expensive and they don’t take the loyalty card.

How can they not take the loyalty card? Have you ever asked? Does it just not apply to their smaller shops? Perhaps they are franchises.

Yes, the local Morrisons to me is a franchise.
They do nice bread though, but it is more expensive and always busy, so not enough staff around most of the time considering the foot fall they have.

Most Morrisons Locals if they were used to be Coop or Budgens in the past two years, they are franchised. By a company called Samy

Lindor. My taste in chocolate is very cheap (literally Malteasers or bust) and so any Lindt type chocolate always strikes me as being uppity with ideas above it's station.

Totally agree. I like cadburys and galaxy and some expensive chocolate too. Lindt doesn’t have the appeal of any of the others. It’s weird and oily.

This is an extremely petty one but Lucy & Yak dungarees. I wanted so badly to be the cool mum who wears these with like a casual black roll neck jumper or something, the patterns looked so fun!

Then I made a special effort to get hold of them and I just cannot wear them. They don’t fit my bum, tried several sizes and to fit they have to be comically baggy on my top half. The straps have to be tied in this way that doesn’t work for me to use the loo quickly and kinda hurts my shoulders and on top of that the pockets don’t fit my phone. Oh and the patterns that looked so cool on the model in her twenties make me look like a circus clown! I took far too long to acknowledge these obvious truths and can’t even return them so it’s off the the charity shop some trendy student can have them. Bugger you Lucy&Yak

They are truly one of the most hideous pieces of clothing I’ve ever seen so I think it did you a favour

😂 well they certainly looked hideous on me! I think Lucy and Yak dungarees have some kind of fairy glamour on them, or something. They somehow still make me want to love them even if they are not at all the kind of thing that works for me...

Completely agree!

I cannot fathom a world where this look is 'cool'. Is Rod, Janet and Freddy 'cool' some sort of aesthetic now? 🤣 Maybe the Big Six should come back and strut the catwalks once more as middle aged mums in Lucy and Yak 😂
