No-one is mentioning Trump's stroke

CharlotteCChapel · 12/09/2025 09:12

It's like tumbleweed out there. During the live televised 9/11 remembrance service Trump's face drooped on one side.

No-one in the mainstream media seems to be mentioning it.

Ive only seen it mentioned on IHIP and the Meidas Touch.

So you’re worried that his hateful rhetoric will spill down to the masses, but yet not worried about the hateful left rhetoric currently being displayed by the masses? Across all SM?

Are you really saying that because the politicians aren’t coming out with it, it’s not damaging? Or somehow less damaging?

People are absolutely revelling with an absolute bloodlust, sharing hit lists of who they want to be next, but this isn’t just as damaging? Because they’re saying it themselves, and not repeating something from a politician?

These people are deranged, and they walk among us.

Eh? I’ve literally said those views don’t represent the views of the majority of the left. I abhor violence and the call to violence.

But if you can’t admit that hateful rhetoric from leaders like Trump, Musk etc is more damaging than some anonymous X accounts then you’re being disingenuous.

Also, pro trans doesn’t equal left wing. Why would I as a woman support the call to murder of the wonderful JKR by a white man dressed as a parody of a woman? It’s unthinkable. Name one well known person who has called for this?

All the 'left' leaning media and politicians have condemned the shooting.

What i have found is that despite this, trump before we even know who the shooter is or why CK was shot, was immediately on the bandwagon of its the dems etc etc. No thought for encouraging retaliatory attacks. Trump obv has his own agenda for this .....epstein deflecting and encouraging social unrest so he can cancel the midterms.

There was no word from any of the trump administration on the abhorrent killing of the democratic couple murdered a few months ago. When Nanci Pelosis husband.was beaten with a hammer , trump, his sons et al ridiculed them.

Disgusting rhetoric should be roundly condemned from leaders not be the band standers of it.

We’re not just talking about media and politicians though, we’re saying that the ‘masses’ are displaying this behaviour, displaying glee and the thought that anyone they don’t agree with deserves to be killed.

Singing ‘We got him in the neck’

So who is ‘we’ in this context?

The left wing are aligning themselves with his shooter themselves. And they’re celebaring their win.

Do I think they know who did it? No, but they are claiming it.

As I said before, I thought it was just the usual crazies, but this has truly shown me how many, seemingly 'ordinary’ people feel this way.

And it’s scary.

Edited to add: People, especially youngsters, get their news from their peers and social media, not their leaders.

People are ignoring this growing glee, and I find it revoluting

People are losing it. Celebrating all kinds of things, whether it’s a stroke or the Charlie Kirk stuff.

Nobody is celebrating, they are querying if he is ill and it is being hidden. Just as we all did with Joe Biden.

...its also worth considering that given trumps agenda to get epstein off the news and encourage civil unrest to stop the midterms ( it all seems very timely doesn't it) that random X accounts and social media posts drumming up hateful anti democratic speech could well be the trump favouring bots doing their thing for their leader.

Why? Is it not ok to hate a cruel narcissist?

Hate is a strong term and you've just pretty much proven my point.

GoldThumb · 12/09/2025 12:53

The sobering thing is, they probably would 😔

It’s honestly beyond my comprehension

Is it really? Because I am well aware that certain elements of the community (a growing number of them in these Reformy times) would think it was hilarious if a 'lefty woke snowflake' like me was killed for whatever reason. I've already been accused of being non-patriotic and committing treason (for standing as a Labour councillor) so escalation into violence doesn't seem that much of a reach.

This is coming from the right. These people have been emboldened/radicalised by Trump and Farage into seeing left-leaning people as literal enemies. It's got worse since Jo Cox and probably only a matter of time before we see a repetition of that. Most left-leaning people are anti violence so the threats don't work the other way.

And FWIW it was clearly a professional hit on Charlie Kirk - shot from a single bullet from 200 metres away - and I doubt very much that this was paid for by some mysterious shady left-wing millionaire. More likely malicious agent who wants to further destabilise US democracy.

It wouldn’t surprise me. Trump only cares about people who look like him and act like him.

Anyone else is seen as collateral damage.

My point was, I initially thought it was ‘some anonymous X accounts’

But it isn’t, it’s far more widespread than I realised, scarily so.

It’s not just pro trans, it’s all across the board.

I’m sorry you think I’m being being disingenuous by saying how shocked I was at seeing how widespread it is. But I don’t care.

I think you’re being disingenuous by pretending it’s just a few u hinged anonymous accounts with these views

I just can’t understand people who take joy in the death of someone, over political views.

It’s deranged, and so much more widespread than I had realised.

Edited to add: I’m not actually talking about the sniper or his client, but the gleeful reaction to it.

It’s the opinion that there’s nothing hating or violent from the left masses that’s my issue, I know it comes from the right.

Some people seem to think it’s only the right though, and they’re very wrong

Aerom · 12/09/2025 13:18

Obviously don’t watch the whole thing. Look at Trump at the beginning of this then around ten minutes in. There is a noticeable droop.

I noticed this and thought he looked and sounded very tired

he is nearly 80 and I guess a more stressful 24 hours plus the added security issues

I think I would rather see him see out his presidency than have Vance in charge

Oh please....just because someone says ' we' doesn't give them the mandate of speaking for every left leaning person south of the Artic circle. Who are 'we' who are 'they'? If I watched all maga leaning social media I would conclude that every American was off their rocker so whatever you're watching you need to be more choice about what you're watching and/or be more discerning of what is being said and who is saying it.

To add i watch alot of independent left leaning social media, news , and influencers , not one has rejoiced in this shooting. None.

I actually thought it sounded more human than normal. Grin Which isn’t really a good thing.

He spoke in complete sentences and looked like he was reading the autocue. Then his hands did a weird flick. It looked like AI to me. I barely trust anything I see anymore.

It's less taking joy in death and more taking joy in potentially not having to listen to his awful opinions.
In an ideal world he'd have had an epiphany moment as opposed to being executed, of course. Unfortunately a lot of people are labelling him a martyr now, that he definitely is not.

You didn’t have to listen. You don’t need this outcome to stop you listening to anyone’s opinions you disagree with.

I grew up in America in a conservative Christian community. Charlie Kirk reminds me of my father and brothers.

So when people gleefully celebrate his death, I feel it, deeply. I feel like they want people like my family dead, and they will be happy about. They’ll laugh about it, the more gruesome, the better.

It’s incredibly sobering. But here we are.

That's not sobering it's shocking and alarming that you feel so threatened by people you dont know, who dont know you.

It is not a normal reaction.

Scrotus Trump is a cunt and as such deserves only the foulest of cunty curses to flow his way.

The day he kicks the bucket along with Putrid, Wrong Un and unseXi Jizzing will be the most beautiful glorious day for the planet Earth 🥳

This. Sadly I have just seen him on the box and he looks as healthy as ever.

I suspect he slurs when his blood pressure or blood sugar goes low.

Patience is a virtue.
