I like Grace Dent.

Si King. He's pleasant, amenable and wouldn't (hopefully) offend anyone.

I like Tom Parker Bowles but he's white, middle-aged and posh so won't be chosen.

William Sitwell would be another one but he's in the same group as Tom P-B.

I like Monica too but perhaps she’s too old brand. Monica and Marcus would my faves, they could be too obvious / old hat.

I think they may need to trial different presenters like HIGNFY still do. Si King is a good suggestion for the non-slick chef but I don't know if it feels too early for him to do something else like this. Matt Tebbutt is another option.

Si King and Grace Dent. It’s not fair on fans (me) to dump a programme we love because the BBC lets itself get held hostage by presenters. Regular turn over is better and boot any prima Donna’s

I love Monica but I think she is perfect for Masterchef The Professionals.

That said, her and Marcus are another dream team... Would they take it on?

I can't agree with William Sitwell, he was on tears when he was being judged.

I do like Grace Dent. She comes across as bring ferocious, but her bark turns in to less than a mild yap when the heat is on.

I'm still rooting for Tom Parker Bowels, not bowels. You wouldn't know his Mum is a Queen.

I want Matt Tebbutt to stay put on my Saturday mornings...

I didn’t particularly like John Torode, but will miss Greg Wallace. I like Marcus Wareing and don’t mind Monica Galetti. I don’t think I would bother to watch it if Tom Parker- Bowles or Jay Rayner took over.

I wonder what they will do about the series that has already been filmed for this year?

I think William Sitwell would be seen as a loose cannon after his vegans comment a while ago. They want someone very safe.

I love Grace Dent so absolutely her. I think the other person has to be a high end chef to make the show credible and the format work.

It was getting quite dull. I especially DG disliked the shouting through shelves as pairs yo create an identical dish. Same with cooking and presenting to John and Greg in another room whilst other contestants whooped on.
