Have you seen the We do not care club on tik tok? It's run by a lady especially for women hitting peri/menopause who makes announcements about what we do not care about anymore.

In the spirit of the WDNC Club I'll go first. I do not care anymore for going out late and staying out til early hours.. If I can get back for 9pm or not go out that's great 🤣

What do you not care about anymore?

It's brilliant and just what this world needs.

I do not care about New Year's Eve.
I do not care about fashion footwear. I like what I like.

I do not care about putting up with dry and uncomfortable eyes, faffing with fluids and little cases, or the exquisite pain that is 'getting something stuck behind your contact lens'... Glasses all the way now...

I do not care that there's a chunk out of one of my breasts - it's a survivor's scar.

I do not care that MN Style and Beauty say that leggings are ugly and middle-aged. They are comfy and practical and I will be wearing a pair every day.

I do not care that travelling broadens your mind. Airports suck and I am very happy in my back garden.

I'm in the club.

We are in (a bad) winter and I don't care that I haven't shaved my legs or armpits for months.

I don't care if people judge me that I want to be home by 4. 30pm so I can change into my soft inside clothes and take off my hard outside clothes.

I don't care about seeing a certain family members incessant Facebook posts about what she ate, where she ate it and her mood at the time. So I unfriended them and a bunch of others

I don't care that I declined invites to go out at night and when they only meet at up at 8pm. It's cold and dark and I'm having none of it.

Mine is I do not care for other peoples small children or babies. Just because I am late middle aged I have no desire to snuggle your screaming DC nor do I find them appealing. I certainly don’t want to be giving you childcare.

I’ll add Christmas to that. I’m waiting for the year both my sons tell me they’re spending Christmas with their respective gf’s families. I’ll pretend to be a bit sad (I love my children) but I’ll already be planning my treats and M&S pre-prepared Christmas lunch and chocolate cake. I am so done with Christmas.

My children are adults they split Christmas between, partners and spouses. In laws then us, it is heavenly. We eat pre prepared food and drink 😀

I don’t care that I buy as much pre-prepared food as I can. Already sliced carrots, shredded cabbage, chopped onions, garlic, ginger, all pre-prepared and frozen for my ease, and always frozen mashed potatoes. If I can do something the lazy way then I will.

Mine are young adult and both have gf’s but they say I’m saner than their gf’s parents so don’t want to spend Christmas with them (both girls still live at home). It’ll be a while before I can have a Christmas free day.

I do not care about parties.

I do not care if I’m not going ‘above and beyond’ at work.

I do not care about the latest views on what is now PC to say (since I’ve now been around to see them all go full circle and it’s exhausting). I am happy to solve this by not caring for talking to the overly earnest anyway.
