The thing about world wars and their numbering is that you really don't get a great sense of who's involved these days based on boots on the ground territorial attacks. You can fund and supply weaponry, sanction etc.

The next world wars - however you're counting - aren't likely to involve domestic fighting across central Europe.

The updates on the recent news, X etc is concerning but I am not sure what to make of this… is this leading to full on war? I don’t think boots on the ground will happen soon but lone wolf attacks are certainly a concern.

The truth is rarely helpful! Also, that’s my feelings on the matter. With climate change, the collapse in societies etc humans as a race are absolutely done for anyways, May as well make it quick.

No. Iran now have less ability to build nuclear weapons. That’s probably a good thing. But tensions are running pretty high or so it seems in many countries. There’s very little we can do to influence the decisions of world leaders. Sometimes it’s best just to get on with and appreciate your own life rather than scaring yourself half to death only to in a few months find that nothing new is really going on.

If you dont see a problem with someone saying bring on the nukes. Causing the death of millions then i am at a loss of words and no longer wish to engage in this pathetic conversation with you

I don't know much about it but I think Henry Kissinger deliberately destabilised the Middle East. So the west were always involved.

If oil rises by 50 to 80 percent, which it will if the tankers are attacked or blocked, we are fucked.

How will China feel about that ? They buy a lot of oil from Iran and won't be best pleased if the Regime make it harder to get and a lot more expensive ?

The politics of all this is difficult for me to understand. I am wondering is the situation we are in now, making ww3 any more likely than 20 years ago with the Iraq war? Was that relatively more contained?
