Android Update! Everything is different and I HATE change!

My Samsung Android phone did a system update last night. Absolutely everything looks different whether it's the text on FB, my app icons, even the battery percentage!! I Absolutely do not like change and this has made me irrationally angry! Anyone else?

My OS updated too but I am ok with change so not really an issue for me. I know I'll get used to it over the next few days. Can't say I've noticed any obvious changes that are an improvement in terms of user experience

Had it a while now, took a bit of getting used to. I hate the search bar being at the bottom, that's my main gripe, and the fact that the swiping down for the settings shortcut and notifications have changed slightly.

I found the one where they made all the app icons looks childish more annoying.

You can change the swipe down menu back to all-in-one exactly like it used to be

How do you change it back? I'm struggling with my phone since the update and also hate it.

I feel.your pain. I can't read the battery percentage. Nothing looks right. I hate it.

swipe down, look for pen icon, then panel settings then it says separate or all together

Oh yay....thank you. This was driving me mad. Not gone on the battery percentage thing either but can live with that once my swipe down was fixed. 😁

I hate it! Thanks for the tip on the swipe down. Also don't like the battery indicator or the notifications on the lock screen - it looks really clunky and ugly.

My battery is draining faster now and my phone is randomly running hot since it installed.

Where have they even put the battery charge information?!?! Mine just updated and it's gone!!

Edit: I found it! I thought the number was how many notifications i had😖

Sony Experia..The updates are constant.
Updated then minutes later another bloody up.

@HornyHornersPinger I know!! I only figured it out by sticking phone on charge and seeing what happen. I have a random leaf icon next to mine. Feck knows what that's for!

Phones get hot when updating, so it will be updating in the background

I have a google Pixel and haven't had any recent updates that have changed anything dramatically. I'd usually get android updates before other brands of phone, so assume /hope this is an android update for phones other than Pixels?
