He did…

Yes, but she's not you. You have absolutely no idea what she feels about her role. She may love it. We have no idea.
Plus it's no excuse for that assault, whatever her feelings.

You don’t think her pushing him
for this role and power was part of her grooming?

Arraminta · 28/05/2025 17:02

The fact that she goes for his face, with both hands, seems especially vicious to me. She doesn't shove his shoulder, kick his leg or whack his arm. No, she goes for his face. Horrible.

Imagine being the spouse of a prominent figure who has to attend all these formal occasions. They def draw the short straw imv.

There are other options than grabbing your partner’s face like that even if you say you would be sick of it.

ScarlettOYara · 28/05/2025 17:03

I've just seen pictures of Princess Anne in Liverpool, going to meet First Response workers in the wake of terrible events.
She's 75 and recently had a head injury. She'd probably rather be at Gatcombe Park walking her dogs. Would that be an excuse for her to shove her husband in the face? I think not.

When someone is 39 and grooms a 15 year old, they haven’t so much drawn the short straw, but yanked it out of the box.

Is that you, Camilla?

Or even, 'is that you Diana?'!

Yes and her being a he is bullshit of the highest order.

asnever · 28/05/2025 17:21

This is going to run and run in the press - it's certainly caused a great deal of coverage.

grownuplefthome · 28/05/2025 18:07

Would we even be discussing that this anything other than assault if the boot was on the other foot? Quite clearly there is something wrong here.

YourSignalFadedIntoAnotherWorld · 28/05/2025 18:29

MarkingBad · 28/05/2025 15:32

Basically the article says

BM tells him to Stay away loser.

EM says Let's try,

BM says no

EM says I see

But lip reading is an art and lots of misinterpretations can happen even with experienced lip readers.

I can't see how anyone can read her lips. Her face is so wooden, it barely moves.

YourSignalFadedIntoAnotherWorld · 28/05/2025 18:29

That's unnecessary

YourSignalFadedIntoAnotherWorld · 28/05/2025 18:32

Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/05/2025 11:33

Even if so, a silly 15 year old developing a crush on their teacher would be nothing new, and the normal response from a responsible adult would be to make themselves unavailable - something which would have been very easy to do if Macron was having to get the train from Paris to visit her

Unfortunately that's not what the disgusting woman chose to do, and the rest is history

In an interview, to prove how much she loved him, when his parents told her to stay away from their son, she said, "I can't promise anything".

It doesn't prove her love. It proves she is an arrogant nonce with an agenda.

YourSignalFadedIntoAnotherWorld · 28/05/2025 18:35

MarkingBad · 28/05/2025 18:31

Nope it's my opinion. There is no way that is her natural face and hair. None of it moves in a natural way so I believe any lip reader would have to be very very skilled to read what she said with any degree of accuracy.

justasking111 · 28/05/2025 18:35

I might have thought dementia symptoms except she pulled herself together when in view which is not my experience of a sufferer. It's all very odd.

FattyMallow · 28/05/2025 18:38

Well look, she groomed him... He's an abused boy who grew up under her thumb. The whole thing is so dodgy, I'm not surprised she's assaulting him in public.

Why are you posting links to poisonous conspiracy theory rubbish?

GameOfJones · 28/05/2025 19:04

The woman is a predator. She groomed him when he was a teenager so of course there is a power imbalance in their relationship. She is literally disgusting.....as are the abuse apologists on this thread. Some of the comments I've read are absolutely awful and are exactly the reason that victims of domestic violence don't come forwards because they fear they won't be believed.

She shoves him with two hands in his face. He holds her arms and steps backwards with a shocked look before he recovers himself. It is caught on camera and you still get morons on here saying "it wasn't a punch" and "I wonder what he did to deserve it."

TheTester2 · 28/05/2025 19:06

Unfortunately, she is always going to be remembered for that.

Kipperandarthur · 28/05/2025 19:06

I don't think anybody wonders what he did to "deserve it". But it would be interesting to know her motives behind it all.

MarkingBad · 28/05/2025 19:11

You are entitled to your opinion of course but whether or not BM had facial work, or otherwise really only slightly affects lip reading if that's the case. There are plenty of accents here and abroad where the lip movements don't conform in expected ways, they can still be read.

TheignT · 28/05/2025 19:49

AliasGraced · 28/05/2025 16:19

Especially in my late seventies. Who wants to be doing that?

She's 72, younger than Princess Anne who went to Liverpool at short notice and toured hospitals and thanked staff for what they had done. I don't think PA hit anyone, it isn't in any news I've seen.
