just that really?

These are my weakness. I'd say i have either or every other day but I want to cut them out completely.

Chocolate very rarely. Probably ate some last year. Crisps every couple of months.

McCartneyOnTheHeath · 21/05/2025 18:54

Every day.

Easypeasymacncheesy · 21/05/2025 18:54

Both daily.

Communitywebbing · 21/05/2025 18:55

Most days.

Smartiepants79 · 21/05/2025 18:56

Several times over a week. Not every day but maybe 3/4 packs of crisps a week and chocolate every other day. Sometimes more or less depending on how I’m feeling.

MonGrainDeSel · 21/05/2025 18:57

I have crisps maybe two days a week. Chocolate maybe once or twice a year as I'm not that fussed about it. I really love crisps though and would happily eat them several times a day if they weren't really unhealthy.

ramonaqueenbee · 21/05/2025 18:57

When I wanted to loose weight I went completely cold turkey on both as it was a habit to pick up a pack of crisps with a meal deal or chocolate at the till etc Now, maybe once or twice a week. At home I have the Graze protein snacks instead.

ruethewhirl · 21/05/2025 18:57

Pre-Mounjaro, more or less daily. Currently, less than once a week and aiming to keep it that way post-MJ.

Missywelliot · 21/05/2025 18:57

Every day. But not much.

W0tnow · 21/05/2025 18:59

Crisps occasionally. I have dark (like 95%) chocolate. I enjoy a square or two. I could eat loads of the regular chocolate. So I don’t buy it!

meagain3 · 21/05/2025 18:59

Every day. But I buy crisp that are under 100 calories for a bag and typically eat a 97 calorie caramel freddo for dessert every day

loubielou31 · 21/05/2025 19:02

Far, far, far too often. Not crisps so much but chocolate or biscuits pretty much every day. And I am well aware that it's such a waste of calories and it's not good for you but in the moment it's just irresistible.
When I was single I remember consciously not buying that sort of thing as part of my weekly shop and that if I wanted it I could but had to walk to the corner shop to buy it. Sometimes I did and sometimes I couldn't be bothered, it really worked. Now those snacks tend to be in the house for other family members, who don't need them either, so it's much harder to stop myself.

EwwSprouts · 21/05/2025 19:03

Love chocolate so two or three times a week. Quite often have crisps for lunch but am currently having these quite a bit as have convinced myself they are marginally more healthy https://www.marksandspencer.com/food/salt-and-black-pepper-popped-red-lentil-tortillas/p/fdp60722570

WhatANightForADance · 21/05/2025 19:07

I eat dark chocolate most days, crisps maybe every couple of weeks.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 21/05/2025 19:09

Crisps probably a bag a month if that? I can take it leave them. Chocolate probably once or twice a week, again I rarely buy a bar. Biscuits on the other hand, or those peanut bars masquerading as healthy snacks - daily.

GYBE4 · 21/05/2025 19:11

A couple of multipack bags of crisps a month. I don't buy any more than that because I could live on crisps.

I don't tend to buy chocolate or biscuits because I lost my sweet tooth as an adult.

Sourisblanche · 21/05/2025 19:12

Dark chocolate most days. Crisps at the weekend.

loubielou31 · 21/05/2025 19:13

Less processed (but equally calorific)alternatives might be nuts, a bit of cheese dried fruit, very dark chocolate.
What would be less processed and lower calorie alternatives? Veg sticks? (They're crunchy I suppose) Ryvita, (again for the crunch).
It's not the same though is it? Food manufacturers definitely know what pushes our buttons.

CoubousAndTourmalet · 21/05/2025 19:14

Never. Both give me migraine so I don't touch them any more. Sad but true.

MissCharlotteLutterell · 21/05/2025 19:14

Crisps - every day with my lunch. Occasionally additional snack but I try to limit that!

Chocolate - not that often. Will have a chocolate digestive a few times a week; other chocolate maybe every couple of weeks. Never a massive binge, I don't like it enough.

MH0084 · 21/05/2025 19:18

rarely. Mostly on days out with my kids. Prefer dark chocolate and don’t really like crisps (but totally embarrassed to admit I love cheetos)

pigeonstew · 21/05/2025 19:19

Daily which is really crap of me but I'm terrible at prep and end up grabbing junk for lunch

Goodgrashus · 21/05/2025 19:23

Chocolate only when it’s bought for me because I can’t resist it. Crisps or any salty snacks give me migraines so can’t eat them anymore

IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece · 21/05/2025 19:26

Crisps once a week or fortnight, that is ONLY because you generally can't buy individual packets here and I have NO self control whatsoever.

Chocolate, Daily. 😬

HowManyDucks · 21/05/2025 19:36

I eat 2 squares of 90% dark chocolate every day. It stops me snacking after dinner. It's like a mind game. I don't eat any food after my chocolate. Apart from that, never (maybe one or two crisps at a party 2 or 3 times a year) 😅
