just that really?

These are my weakness. I'd say i have either or every other day but I want to cut them out completely.

Chocolate is made from beans, so it's one of yer 5-a-day, innit ?

ILikeitOverHere · 21/05/2025 19:50

A square or two of chocolate daily, love it. Crisps I don't care about so maybe once a month. A couple of biscuits daily with a brew, and a breakfast bar daily at work.
I also eat fruit daily and plenty of salad and veg with meals.

lovehearts88 · 21/05/2025 19:53

Chocolate at least once or twice a week normally. But some weeks it's everyday. I like something sweet in the evening with a cup of tea.

Crisps less often but probably 1-2 a month.

Inextremis · 21/05/2025 19:54

I'm no saint, and am overweight, but I only eat crisps perhaps twice a year, at Christmas - and chocolate maybe about the same. My weaknesses are cheese and bread (plus butter, of course!). I just find chocolate either too sweet or too bitter, and crisps are only worth it in an egg mayo sarnie.

JDM625 · 21/05/2025 19:58

I've never had a sacks worth OP! 😂

We have crisps and chocolate in the cupboard most of the time. I might have a few crisps, twice a week. They are sharing packs, so I seal them up- never a whole pack. I'm overweight, but just don't get the urge for them often.

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 21/05/2025 19:58

Crisps a couple of times a week. Chocolate a couple of times a month perhaps - probably less often actually, I can't remember the last time I had some. I don't have much of a sweet tooth.

TheHouseofGirth · 21/05/2025 19:59

About once a month.

thenarnianna · 21/05/2025 20:02

I have a piece of dark chocolate every day. Maybe have crisps or other chocolate once a month?
Don't ask me about breakfast cereal though.

MooseAndSquirrelLoveFlannel · 21/05/2025 20:03

When not dieting I'll eat crisps maybe once a week.

Chocolate maybe once a month or so.

My weakness is cheese 😁

AICounselling · 21/05/2025 20:03

most days. More than once.

WhineAndWine1 · 21/05/2025 20:04

Crisps maybe twice a week and a small bit of chocolate a day. I’m struggling to eat on MJ so I don’t begrudge myself a bit of chocolate

DancingDucks · 21/05/2025 20:06

Every day. I have a packet of quavers with my lunch and a mini treat sized bar of chocolate for pud after dinner at night.

pinkelephantseverywhere · 21/05/2025 20:07

Crisps maybe weekly or perhaps less.

Chocolate most days!

I’m not overweight at all, it’s weird how some people think slim = perfect diet.

IchBinPapst · 21/05/2025 20:10

Every day, although I want to lose a bit of weight so for the past few months I’ve swapped crisps for apples and limited chocolate to chocolate rice cakes.

I’ve been getting through 6 apples a day and put on another stone since January ☹️

Ilovemyshed · 21/05/2025 20:11

Chocolate, maybe twice/ three tomes a year.

Crisps used to be several times a week, now a few times a year. We have plain nuts instead.

Tryingtokeepgoing · 21/05/2025 20:12

Crisps, almost never. Chocolate in bar or snack form, never. But as a desert I will sometimes order a mouse, a tart or pudding, or have square or two of 90% cocoa chocolate at the end of a meal. I do like chocolate, but the it’s not a go to snack for me as most of what’s available when you might want a snack on the go is just cheap rubbish.

LaurieFairyCake · 21/05/2025 20:14

Both daily, but very small amounts - a mini twin (from a celebration box at Christmas) and a 97 calorie packet of French fry crisps

ZebraPrintt · 21/05/2025 20:35

Every day

meagain3 · 21/05/2025 20:38

Edited

6 apples is more calories than a small bag of wotsits a day! I eat a bag of crisp under 100 calories every single day and I’ve lost 5 stone :)

mumandmumber · 21/05/2025 20:44

Crisps once a week maybe.
Chocolate, once every few months.

My weakness is a cold beer.

CointreauQuaint · 21/05/2025 20:47

Every day. Loads.

Wonderwall23 · 21/05/2025 20:53

I have a packet of crisps every day and eat a small amount of chocolate (a few squares of a big bar) more often than not as well.

I think the rest of my diet is relatively healthy and I'm underweight. Not that it matters particularly but just to give context.

ArcticBells · 21/05/2025 20:55

Never. I eat nuts/seeds at times when one might eat crisps or chocolate. Not because I don’t like them but because I try to eat healthy options

coxesorangepippin · 21/05/2025 20:56

Never

But I drink caffeine, alcohol, eat meat, cream, butter etc

Sugar every morning on porridge

Picklechicken · 21/05/2025 20:58

I can’t eat crisps because they hurt my mouth (autoimmune issues) but I eat chocolate every day, on and off all day long. Terrible but true. I probably get through a share sized bar of Galaxy every couple of days. Have been this way since I was a teen (now 44). Could do with knocking it on the head to be honest as I’m about 3 stone overweight but my love of chocolate is bigger than my love of being slim.
