just that really?

These are my weakness. I'd say i have either or every other day but I want to cut them out completely.

Pre-Mounjaro, more or less daily. Currently, less than once a week and aiming to keep it that way post-MJ.

I was going to say the exact same thing! it’s so weird isn’t it

It would never occur to me to eat them anymore and I avoid them

faerietales · 21/05/2025 23:30

Crisps everyday, chocolate maybe once or twice a week.

Theyreeatingthedogs · 21/05/2025 23:32

Chocolate daily. Never eat crisps. Used to eat crisps but stopped.

Walkitoff · 21/05/2025 23:37

I eat crisps rarely. Maybe once every few months I’ll get a craving for them and buy a multipack.

I go weeks without chocolate bars but I do consume hot chocolate, add cacao powder to smoothies and oats etc

I buy or bake biscuits once every few weeks. Don’t have sweets much either.

My weak spot for sugary snacks is cakes. I’ll easily have a slice or so every other day some weeks.

Lovemydoggie · 21/05/2025 23:37

Am on my second day of MJ and haven’t even thought about any junk food. Onwards and Upwards.

uncomfortablydumb60 · 21/05/2025 23:41

Chocolate Daily. Crisps A few times a year, I eat raw nuts instead.

heidyho · 22/05/2025 03:55

Crisps rarely but chocolate is my weakness. I have it daily, I definitely eat too much of it.

ihatethongs · 22/05/2025 04:29

The thing with crisps is, they’re not something I crave or really fancy. But if they’re in the house or are offered to me, I will happily munch through them, it’s just that I’m a sugar addict, so will always choose sweet over savery.
I unfortunately eat sugary processed snacks every single day however, whether it’s ice cream, chocolate, biscuits, cookies, doughnuts, sweet pastries etc.
I therefor have to compensate by skipping actual meals to stay in shape 💔
I’m so badly addicted that I don’t have any hope that I’ll ever be able to change.

the80sweregreat · 22/05/2025 07:13

I was a bit of a ‘crisp addict’ at one point , but since I’ve tried a new diet I’ve found I don’t want to eat them as much.
I do crave chocolate, but have to try not to buy it or just the very dark chocolate and have a square of that.
Its all so difficult staying off such foods though.

Rtato · 22/05/2025 07:16

Are crisps processed? The packet says potatoes olive oil, and salt.

EleanorReally · 22/05/2025 07:16

i discovered popcorn which feels healthier, so eat that daily.
chocolate rarely although last night i had a chocolate eclair

EmeraldShamrock000 · 22/05/2025 07:17

Every day, usually one packet of crisp or a few biscuits.

Fizbosshoes · 22/05/2025 07:19

Chocolate - every day
Crisps - every couple of months.
The rest of what I eat is pretty healthy, but drinks are bad - diet coke, flavoured water or sugar free squash feature a lot!

Whataninterestinglookingpotato · 22/05/2025 07:47

Chocolate every day. At the moment it’s home made chocolate brownies but can be a chocolate bar from the shop. Even when I was loosing weight I still had my daily evening chocolate.

crisps maybe once or twice a week. I rarely eat a packet of crisps with lunch or whatever but I like a few in a bowl if having a beer in the garden or something. Life is about balance and I’m happy to eat some crap along side things that are good for you.

elusiveemz · 22/05/2025 07:56

Crisps- rarely ever. I just don't like them and they don't satisfy me at all. Exemption for tortilla chops which I now only buy if making nachos because I can easily inhale the whole giant bag.

Chocolate - if its there, I will eat it. My weakness. I buy a couple of packs of the aldi knock off mini mars / snickers qjenni go shopping but with 6 if us in the house, they've usually gone within a day or two. I try not to consciously buy any more because we all have a weakness for chocolate.

Biscuits- have maybe two a day. I'm a sucker for a rich tea

Allthebrightplaces · 22/05/2025 07:58

Chocolate, every day without fail. Bloody love chocolate.

Crisps, only occasionally. I tend to go through phases with crisps. I'll either get a multi pack and eat one every day, then go months without them.

NameChangeNow3000 · 22/05/2025 08:00

I have crisps most days with lunch. I don’t eat chocolate every day, maybe 2/3 times a week but I never binge on it. I run loads though so I can eat it without it affecting my weight.

RabbitsRock · 22/05/2025 08:06

I’m a bit of a “ crisp hoover” so try not to have them in the house all the time. I have chocolate a couple of times a week unless I get fixated with a particular bar & then it’s daily - lately it’s been Picnics.

If it’s any consolation I was the same and I’ve managed to overcome it somewhat or at least get it under control.

Some weeks I’d bake and eat a whole batch of cookies daily. Late at night I’d go though tubs of ice cream super quick, eat pastries and sweet coffee for breakfast etc and I wasn’t even skipping meals! I remember waking up in the middle of the night once and eating a tub of biscoff spread with half a loaf of white bread.

So yeah there is hope for you too I’m sure! One tip is try not to have these sorts of things in the house if at all possible. And if you like fruit smoothies try making them daily. Or adding banana or raisin to oats.

I still often eat cake/cookies a few times a week but it’s in MUCH smaller quantities and if I do have something sugary be it a cake or doughnut etc , I won’t have anything else sweet that day. Whereas before it was sugar from morning until night!

So yeah my diet isn’t perfect and still struggle with sweet stuff to an extent but I’ve significantly reduced my refined sugar intake.

BigDahliaFan · 22/05/2025 08:19

I used to every day, we could have a family bag of crisps in and I’d eat the lot. Chocolate wasn’t so bad, but stressy day at work and I’d nip out and buy a snickers, a ripple and S&P crisps. Then a couple of bags at crisps at home. Kidded myself that because the rest of my diet is healthy it was somehow fine. I cold Turkeyed on the crisps about a year ago….and lost a stone and a half. Really easily. Still got a stone to go…

I’ll have a bag about once a fortnight now, but not mindlessly eating them so in the pub and can take or leave them. Chocolate I’ve cut right down on too. It’s not been that hard.

I'm horrendous too, not so much on food, chocolate biscuits and cups of tea. I'm addicted to tea with a lot of sugar, easily 10 mugs daily.

A friend who gave up all sugar two years ago looks 10 years younger. I have to do it.

TheWisePlumDuck · 22/05/2025 08:27

Half a bar of very dark chocolate every day (85%+) because I love it.

I've never really been fussed about crisps. Except pringles. We don't have them at home but if I go to a party and they are there...they won't survive the evening.

ICantBeDoingWithThat · 22/05/2025 08:28

Occasionally. I can't keep them in the house, or I would live off them, see also biscuits and cakes.
When I do have them I count them into my days calories, or I would gain weight quickly.

You really can't have all the extra treats and stay slim. That's why we have an obesity epidemic.

beautyobessed · 22/05/2025 08:46

When I’m due on… so probably three days every month 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🙈🙈

SummerHouse · 22/05/2025 08:49

I love crisps so much. Daily.

Just starting low carb today though so probably won't have any till tomorrow when I sack off low carbing.
