He’s had a stroke following a number of open heart surgeries to repair and replace his heart valves. I can’t breathe, I overheard them say terminal stroke. I love him so much.

I’m so so sorry OP. I went through something very similar with my mum in the place of one of your children. Be prepared that there may be a conversation about organ donation if he is in ITU. I was very surprised my mum wasn’t too old and she donated two kidneys.

Oh jeez. I don’t know what to say re how young he is.

You need to do what he’d have wanted and (far more importantly) what is right and least traumatic for you and your children. That’s it. I will say having been through it I would never ever put pressure onto anyone.

There are specialist nurses who are separate to his medical team.

I've just read your latest message, I am so sorry for what you are going through .
Your husband is so young too, what an awful day for your family.
Tomorrow will be unlike anything you've ever experienced and it's going to feel unreal. You will gain strength from being with your family.
I can't find any words of comfort.

We have 2 children together 14&12. But I have 3 older children 25,23 and 19. My 19 year old is meeting me at Sheffield Station in an hour. Then I’ll go and tell the little 2 xxx
