Why do men do this

"D"H one.

I've been telling him nicely and then not so nicely but he's always peeing all over the floor of the toilet. It gets soaked up on the mat and becomes filthy.

I wash it every 3 days and it starts to stink again. I have a pile of laundry already and I don't want to wash the mats so often !

I don't have a cleaner and I clean the toilets on my own. But I don't want to be cleaning his pee every other day. I'm feeling so fed up.

His excuse is he can't aim. He's not doing deliberately. And that my hair fall makes the bathroom dirty. Mind you he's never once cleaned it.

That’s disgusting. I’ve been married 26 years. Have two adult sons. They and their father are perfectly capable of aiming in the toilet!

'Men' do not do this. Your filthy pig of a husband does it. I would be filing for divorce TBH if my husband pissed all over the floor like an animal. Actually, even cats manage to hit the bloody cat litter!

Tell him to sit down or clean up after himself. Gross! (Also leave some cleaning spray in there and make him clean it up every time you see him go in there.)

That's a reason for weeing on the floor, it's no excuse for not cleaning it up. I cannot imagine the mindset of knowingly pissing on the floor and thinking "ah well, someone else will clean that up for me". So disrespectful.

Tell him that if aim is beyond him, he needs to wash the mats, or sit down to wee.

don’t use a mat it’s gross - it’s literally got pee on it all the time.

he can just wipe the floor himself since he can’t aim or sit - despite hoards of young potty training boys managing some success with at least one of those options

How to actually get him to clean is another matter. I never managed to get my stbxh to clean anything except once for house viewings so we could part ways quickly after 30+ years.

EDIT - that is one thing he never did though. I never, ever had to wipe up his piss from the toilet seat/floor. Plenty of other things but not that.

He’s got to adulthood without being toilet trained and instead of being mortified, and desperate for you to not find out, he thinks so little of you that he’s happy for you to get on your hands and knees and scrub his piss off the floor? Wow. That’s quite a statement to be making.

Personally, I’d get rid of the mat, handing him cleaning products and telling him that if I had to scrub his piss off the floor ever again, I’d be doing it with his toothbrush.

I’m hoping you’ve explained to him that you don’t find men who aren’t toilet trained sexually attractive?

I tell you what, test him..
Ask him to sit down whilst he pees so that you don't have to keep cleaning up his wee ..
If he says,
"Of course I will..." And the does every time . Great.
If he doesn't.. you know where you stand... Right in his piss...
