I think this move is an absolute blinder and trump seems very moved by it. The sheer bigglyness of an unprecedented second state visit is big.

Someone mentioned the tate brothers, trump said he didn't know anything about it and starmer cut in, there is obviously a British element here and human trafficking is a security threat.

I thought he did well to get that in because obviously trump is all over invaders and security threats so hopefully starmer can tell him about those vile men and they will be ejected from USA.

The mood doesn't feel as warm as macron however so far starmer seems well primed and precise.

I rhj think whatever trump is thinking and wants to say he will have that bribe at the back of the state visit.
