For me, it has to be thongs, bodies that fasten with those tiny poppers underneath, and false eyelashes.

Back in the day the craze was to overpluck eyebrows, women could end up with hardly any brows because the hairs didn't grow back properly.

Eyebrows! yes, leave them alone! The caterpillar ones of now or the overplucked ones of yesteryear! Yes, just leave them alone, or give them a little tidy. At school, girls who had a spare moment would get out their tweezers and a little mirror and start plucking, like people today are always checking their phones when they have a spare moment. I mean why? The spare moment plucking, that is.
