For me, it has to be thongs, bodies that fasten with those tiny poppers underneath, and false eyelashes.

Cold shoulder tops and peplums haven’t been fashionable for at least 10 years…😂

Was just coming on to say this! And pedal pushers, have they ever been in fashion?

I won’t go near the big eyebrows thing or contouring, I have never seen it done well, people forget that those doing tutorials online have big strong lighting which softens the look, in real life it’s really obvious but maybe that is what they are going for?

I spent a long time clinging to my skinny jeans and trainer socks but now I love a pair of barrel legs or wide legs and it’s so much comfier in the gym with the bigger socks over my leggings, trainer socks always wriggled down into the shoe for me (although I do worry that people think I’m just keeping up with the young things).

Tattoos. Particularly the eyebrows.

Botox. Fillers. BBL.

Basically anything the fucks with my body.

All these ^.
But fashion-wise, never say never. I enjoy looking current.

Buying clothes from anywhere you can't even pretend to not know about the outrageous lack of ethics. Temu, Shein, Bohoo et al.

chattyness · 30/01/2025 16:44

Fem bot eyebrows, fake tan, trout pout, oh and oversized clothes, I think they look hideous on EVERYONE

TraitorLinda · 30/01/2025 16:44

False lashes, rubber lips, frozen five head, tattoos, contouring, barrel leg jeans

Auburngal · 30/01/2025 16:45

Bodies are awful. Not flattering. They were in Primark a couple of years ago. Saw a young woman wearing one. Think she didn’t do all the press studs and lifted her arms and the body rolled up.

What are potato tops?

feemcgee · 30/01/2025 16:45

Those earrings that stretch the piercing hole, they make me feel queasy.

Skinny jeans, leggings - basically anything skin tight on the bottom half. It makes everyone look like Max Wall.

Or Freddie Starr doing Mick Jagger.

jotex · 30/01/2025 16:47

Uggs! Platform, tasman etc. I think they look awful.

Funkyslippers · 30/01/2025 16:48

Mullets on males or females (I'm looking at you, Miley Cyrus!)

Auburngal · 30/01/2025 16:48

False eyelashes which look overly false, Long nails, thick spectacles frames - Joe 90/Buddy Holly type. They don’t look nice on certain people. I look stupid in them. I want people to look at my face, not my glasses.

Craftycorvid · 30/01/2025 16:49

Well, to be fair, when it comes to fashion ‘most of it’ would be my answer to what I wouldn’t wear. Some things are just not to my taste and others are just baffling: cold shoulder tops, for example. Why? On that theme, sleeveless jumpers that are clearly not pullovers - if it’s cold enough for a jumper, you likely need some sleeves to go with it.

Miley is copying her dad’s fashion during his Achy Breaky Heart era.

Crop tops

Me too, they are revolting.
Recently in a restaurant, the waiter who served us bent forwards to take the order, he had big round earings in the lobe, I could actually see the wall behind him through the hole.
It totally turned my stomach.😬

Skin coloured, skin tight all over clothing. Like a giant brownish/beigeish unitard. Worn by chunky girls so they look like a raw sausage.

I’m a bit baffled when I see a woman wearing a sleeveless top and a scarf.

I remember wearing the bodies in the late 80s. It was a nightmare trying to do the poppers up very drunk!

Agree with most of the above but I do think wide legged trousers (not ridiculously wide though) look quite good if you're reasonably slim. Much more flattering than skinnies..

ValentineValentineV · 30/01/2025 16:57

Wide leg trousers.

ValentineValentineV · 30/01/2025 16:57

There was a bloke who was able to stretch a a drinks coaster through his lug holes

Lobe stretching. Yuk!

ValentineValentineV · 30/01/2025 16:58

Contouring if it’s still a thing.

Lollypop701 · 30/01/2025 17:03

Leggings with the stitching to cut into the crack in your bum … and usually leave little to the imagination on wether you’ve gone for a Brazilian or heart shape bush 🙈I don’t want to see it

Along with ripped skinny jeans where fat overhangs the ripped areas.

Waltdisnerd · 30/01/2025 17:04
