What trend or fashion will you never buy into?

For me, it has to be thongs, bodies that fasten with those tiny poppers underneath, and false eyelashes.

Oh my gosh so many school mums do this and with the worse socks, it makes me want to 🤢😂 (I apologise as I’m being extremely judgy here but born in the 80s 😝)

Dry robes, only acceptable if popping on after a swim.

I don't get these which seemed to be trend in Next this winter. Did anyone buy them?

Injectables.

Most of these terms I had to Google. Never knew the oversized, ankle touching puffer coats are called dry robes.

There are dry robe gilets. Pointless things. Plus look very chavvy

I need to know what both of these are 😂

*Potato tops are the ones with the stupid cut out shoulders
*Mars bar contour is the really dark mucky looking contour, literally shading your face brown around the edges, often features a sparkly nose tip (supposedly looks good on camera .....)

Then I will add those to my list, along with oversized coats worn off the shoulder, and those trousers with words like 'Juicy' across the bum cheeks. Just why?

I would have laughed at the socks over leggings trend in the past, but I have been converted! Much cosier around the house, and rarely worn further than the supermarket.
I definitely wouldn’t wear them with crocs though!

Eyebrows

I've resisted every eyebrow trend since the 90s. The ridiculous thin lines. The ridiculous thick clown make up ones pained back on.

I tweeze between them every few weeks to prevent a unibrow but that's it.

Do you shave your armpits? Legs?

Why try hard? It's just practical. I hate cold ankles. Especially if I'm going out for a long brisk walk in winter.

Basically it’s become a fashion thing kids do.

Animal print, skinny jeans and leggings.

Cold-shoulder tops.
Wet-look leggings.
Wedge shoes / boots.
Waterfall cardigan.
Shumpers.

Slug eyebrows
Ripped jeans
Crocs
Fillers and that world
Fake tans, always emitting some harsh orange atomic glow
Tiny handbags on a little chain (I like somewhere for my water bottle and paperback)
Big fluffy mules/slippers in the street,
Bodycon dresses
Christmas jumpers in all their acrylic glory
Oh yes, waterfall cardigans - shudder
Anything backless
Seasonally inappropriate clothing: shorts in the winter, knitted hats on boiling days etc
Tiny tiny tiny dresses unless you’re under about 7 and going to kindergarten
Leopard print, it’s become a classic but will always say Bet Lynch to me
Very low necklines
Chunky cardigans with mismatched buttons a la M&S

So darn many! 😱

Cold shoulder tops
Botox/filler
Slug eyebrows and fake lashes
Tattoo's
Trainers and thick sports socks over your leggings.

Why be so nasty about what someone chooses to wear? They're not hurting you. Walk on by.
There's lots of trends I wouldn't buy into but I wouldn't slag someone else off for having different taste to me.

Corsets
Ponchos

Why do you need the socks over the trousers though? It makes me think of eighties aerobics classes.

Crocs

'Arse leggings' - you know, those ones gathered at the crack to say LOOK AT MY ARSE CHEEKS . Everywhere at the gym right now.

Me too. They're horrible.

And high heels. Always disliked the look of them. I embrace my shortness in flat shoes!
