What is the most miserable biscuit in existence?

DH and I are not eating sweet stuff for January and today he commented that he was so fed up with it he would even want to eat a really crap biscuit, so we were debating what that would be.

He reckoned the worst biscuit would be a Nice biscuit, but I think I would much rather eat one of those than a Garibaldi.

Is there a biscuit even more disappointing, that you would be less likely to accept an offer of than a Garibaldi biscuit?

Malted milk horrible texture ,nice, marie, lincoln biscuits pink wafers ,bourbons, thin arrowroot, ,I'm sure there lots more shitty bics I can't think of but my list will get too long.

A fair point. In my defence, I wasn't in my office for very long today AND I brought my flask of tea home undrunk. So I don't know what happened.

I can't believe you don't like malted milk biscuits, they're divine! but I'm glad you like rich tea biscuits because they're also divine and all the haters here are missing out. 'Hob nobs' on the other hand are just plain evil.

Perfectly reasonable position to take - custard is a thing of silky pleasure, whereas those monstrosities are a dry, oversweet and grainy exercise in nominative deception.

I broke my biscuit fast with some pink wafer biscuits which were tasty but a bit stale due to the packet having been open the whole of January.

Still infinitely better than a Garibaldi though!

Good grief. If there's one biscuit worse than a pink wafer it's a stale pink wafer.

I've been to the shops since then and now have milk chocolate digestives and some chocolate fingers.

I also was talking to a friend about this thread and he insisted that plain hobnobs are better than milk chocolate hobnobs which is possibly a worse biscuit opinion than not liking pink wafers.

Plain hobnobs have the texture of a coconut fibre doormat imo. Rough as hell.

@noblegiraffe I thought of you when I bought 2 packets of pink wafers for my sons birthday today, it's not a birthday without them or party rings😂. I got an extra packet for my beautiful 3year old granddaughter who I am babysitting today because she absolutely loves them.
