If I were to pop over to your house right now, what would you offer me?

(This being MN, that's assuming you'd let me in!
Also assuming we knew each other, and not just total internet randoms😅)

Interested to see if you would use this opportunity to get rid of most of your Christmas goodies like I am doing when people have stopped by.

Here, you would be offered any of the following - 2 boxes of Fox's classics biscuits, a box of McVities Victoria biscuits, Waitrose classic panettone, a tin of Royal dansk danish butter cookies, 2 boxes Thornton classic, an After Eight Selection box, a large tray of Ferrero Rocher and a box of Guylian deluxe seashells - all unopened!

(Don't worry, a couple of these will go to work with me tomorrow to be shared with colleagues and the rest will be going to my neighbour who organises the local food bank donation boxes)

You'd also have a choice of a variety of teas and coffees, prosecco or Bucks Fizz!

A cup of tea, and a slice of (homemade) cottage loaf, buttered, with medlar jelly (also home made but not by me)

A selection of about 15 different kinds of tea (I call my tea cupboard my "tea library" 😁), hot chocolate, two types of coffee (one cognac flavoured!), port, prosecco, or red wine. For snacks you could have some orange and ginger chocolate, or I could whip you up a cheeseboard. DH made olive bread last night though, and it's really nice toasted so I'd recommend you had that with butter and nettle cheese.

Directions to the deli to bring us both a nice drink? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
