Am still in Christmas mode.
Sleeping in until 10am (have teens) chocolates for lunch etc.

DH said about us attempting to tackle the bedroom today (it was thw dumping ground over xmas) but I said I want to just leave it al until the kids are back at school and I will tackle it all then.

Am obviously doing the normal daily stuff, bits and bobs, kitchen etc

But until Monday I just want to keep the Christmas lights on and watch crappy TV and play scrabble

Anyone else feel the same?

@gmgnts yes, goats do eat Christmas trees. Our local city farm collects them every year for a donation. I have paid extra this year for a special message from the goats to DD (she's 21!)

A special message 😆 I love that! Now I need to know what the special message says!

I'll let you know when it arrives

Still in Christmas mode here too, no decorations coming down until the 6th as it's still Christmas, still eating our way through the mince pies and chocs, sleeping late etc, I have managed to keep the house in some sort of order though as I hate untidiness!

Christmas tree still up and all the treats out here. But I only really start mid December.

New presents are 90% in their new homes so the house feels fairly tidy.

i have a Monday morning cleaner, so the tree will probably come down one day early so she can give the living room a proper clean then. Also will help with going back to work and not having to take it down after my first day back.

The tree was collected today and we got the message from the goats it's hard to read because goats can't spell and their writing is poor in those hooves. Apart from anything else, it says they're getting a new house which will be called the Goatel! Please scroll on if it's too hard on the eyes

Still Christmas here and as we have heavy snow predicted again Sunday (already snowed in) kids won’t be back to school early next week, so it can all stay as it is.
On top of the laundry and cleaning but decorations are still up and we are spending a lot of time in front of the fire doing puzzles or playing board games.
