Which chocolate bar saved your life?

I was interviewing most of yesterday, had loads to do and was generally feeling a bit meh and tired. My boss went out and came back with a curly wurly to pep me up. I bloody love a curly wurly. What chocolate bar really hits the spot for you?

I have never had a star bar feel I need to now buy one now!

It was a starbar originally, then became peanut boost but has reclaimed its rightful name and is indeed the king of chocolate bars! I never crave chocolate but if I see one of these I start drooling 😳

Star bar. I remember when they came out in the 70s. I'm sure the peanut butter centre was squidgier then, or maybe it was the heat of the summer in 1976!

I can't have dairy either at the moment and I've found if I want something chocolatey like normal chocolate, not free from chocolate I have a recipe for chocolate buttercream using flora buttery, icing sugar and cocoa powder that hits the spot. Just added orange flavour to the last lot for some buns I made and it's amazing.

Why did I read this post as a 24 week pregnant woman with gestational diabetes 😭😭😭😭😭 I have a list of things to have once baby is born and some of these are going on the list!

I was once having the worst day at work. I’d been forced practically into being a PA for an awful awful new director at the company I’d been at for 8 years. He was making my life a misery. I’d just had a MC and was just so sad. One of his ops managers who had been there years like me went on his lunch break and when he came back he placed a family size bar of galaxy caramel on my desk, gave me a really kind smile and a wink and walked off. I think he’s retired now, he didn’t have time for the new directors bollocks either 😂 but that Galaxy really cheered me up.
