Which chocolate bar saved your life?

I was interviewing most of yesterday, had loads to do and was generally feeling a bit meh and tired. My boss went out and came back with a curly wurly to pep me up. I bloody love a curly wurly. What chocolate bar really hits the spot for you?

I love a double decker

DH regularly rescues me with a bag of chocolate buttons from M&S. It’s not a purely selfless act cos he always snaffles some but I let him off.

Maltesers or Revels.

This! Got me through a year of running a online grocery delivery warehouse through covid. Personally attribute being able to 18 hour days back to back to the Double Decker/Diet Coke combo at 2am 😂

Snickers hands down.

Star Bar. I put them in the freezer first.

Kinder, not the Bueno but the normal milk chocolate with the milky filling. And Maltesers, definitely.

I was a member of a hiking group. Before my first hike with them, I neglected to have breakfast because I was trying to lose weight (idiot!) and took two measly sandwiches with me as lunch.
About 10 miles in, I started to feel woozy with a blinding headache and stomach cramps.
I ended up staggering along, being supported by two other club members who were feeding me bits of Mars bar.

Omg, it tasted like heaven.

On more special occasions I also like Fry's Turkish Delight and chocolate Covered marzipan bars.

If it has to be a chocolate bar, boost bar. Easy!
But if any sort of chocolate, it’s between that and revels.

None of these but being brought in a slice of home made cake definitely perks me up

co-op fairtrade milk chocolate with rice crispie bits was lovely, dont know if they still sell them. Failing that I do like a milky way.

Was in my hospital bag when I had both my babies (now teens) forget the tea & toast after birth, I had earned tea and a Star Bar!

I was wondering what happened to the peanut one, but apparently that's now Star!

I rarely have chocolate (big savoury fan) but if I had to choose it would probably be a flake or bounty.

Also, Nuts About Caramel. I don't think I'll ever fully recover from eating my last one and not even knowing it. We should have a years notice, I'd even settle for 6 months notice of when things are getting discontinued. It all just happens too fast 😭
