I’ve just started cobbling together a leek and chicken pie using an assortment of freezer odds and ends.

BBQ style sticky Chicken Wings side dishes of Mac’n’Cheese & tomato salad

Comfort food needed so definitely some sort of pasta, be it creamy or meaty or both.

A chocolate bar and a packet of crisps

Emptying freezer - roast lamb which I'll cook with onions, cumin, sumac, garlic to stuff in flatbreads; feta smushed with Greek yogurt, mint and and cucumber; I'm soaking chickpeas to make batches of hummus; green salad.

Apple custard (Protestant!) traybake after.

Chilli and rice, nachos covered in melted cheese, chopped peppers and a dollop of sour cream.

Homemade beef meatballs in gravy with mashed potato and a pile of green beans and brocolli.

Bacon, leek and potato gratin with garlic bread.

I’ve made some soup out of odds and ends in the fridge and then not sure what else as we have been away and the cupboards are a bit bare.

I’ve got a load of frozen party food like snowmen bao buns and spring rolls in the freezer so might just give DD that with some tofu and edamame to feel less lazy about it.

I’ve got about 8 different cheeses, some nice little bits of meat, cheese stuffed peppers, various crackers, some grapes and my favourite chilli chutney!! Oh and a bottle of Jammy Red Roo!!!! Heating on, nice pjs, fresh bedding for after! One chilled mama tonight!

Home-made pizza tonight. I'll top it with garlic sausage and pepperoni. New sauce recipe making its debut. Half a bottle of Carmenere to finish with it but a glass or four of rose Cava first.

We are right on the coast and it's wild here..we are settling down with a film in an hour or so with pizza, wedges and coleslaw

Cheese night, lots of different cheeses, crusty fresh bread and crackers. Ham for when we get sick of cheese (won’t happen). We have naice pickled onions and gherkins for on the side and sun dried tomatoes.

Classic spag bol that I made a massive vat of last week. We've got a 10 week old and all of our other three are at ours this weekend and are hungry pre teens, so I batch cook huge stews and things so we don't have to cook every single night.

This particular one is made "extra" with bacon and chilli, loads of grated cheese and spaghetti.

Couldn't bring myself to expect someone else to deliver me food on a bike if I wasn't willing to go get it on foot!
