DH just woken from a danger nap, he thinks it's 10pm

He woke up and asked me the time, I said 10pm, he's rushed out to walk the dog thinking she's going to shit somewhere as she's usually walked at 6, he's looked at his phone 3 times. Poor sod 😄

Gross

Why is that gross

roastiepotato · 17/11/2024 21:45

DancingTurtle · 17/11/2024 21:43

Presumably you married someone with a similar sense of humour to yourself? And so did OP.

Well, obviously Confused.

If DP did this to me I'd be completely non-plussed and then I'd think he'd lost his mind.

Even if he flashed himself? /sarcasm

DancingTurtle · 17/11/2024 21:45

What kind of things do you do to have a laugh with your husband

I think our humour is a bit more gentle and not cruel in any sense. Neither of us would appreciate a prank for example.

Grin
MsNeis · 17/11/2024 21:48

I see myself doing this in a bit less than 20 years 🤭

roastiepotato · 17/11/2024 21:48

Differentstarts · 17/11/2024 21:44

Why is that gross

She tricked him into thinking it was really late. Then "rewarded" him by flashing herself. If my husband just randomly whipped his dick out and expected the meer sight of his body to make up for being cruel I'd think it was gross

morbidcuriosity · 17/11/2024 21:49

Cor there are some proper boring people commenting here..

I like it, funny.. bit of harmless fun.

awaiting the payback! haha

TwattyMcFuckFace · 17/11/2024 21:50

Bienzi · 17/11/2024 21:33

Or they just don't share this particular kind of humour?

Some posters are guffawing themselves senseless over the OP's gag, some think it's...not very funny. The posters calling other posters 'miserable' etc. for not joining in the hilarity...you do know that different people find different things funny?

Mrs Brown's Boys existed to show us beyond any doubt that humour is not universal. That's not complicated.

No-one's being called miserable for not joining in the hilarity.

They're being called miserable for posting on the thread, instead of just scrolling on.

Oh! Is that what Mrs Brown's boys was for?? A social experiment!

Maybe he could mess with her alarm and then she'll wake up tomorrow and it really will be later than she thinks and she can PANIC and be late for work or whatever appointment she has. Then to make it up when she's back home he could moon her.

Blogswife · 17/11/2024 21:56

So funny , can’t wait to do this next time DH nods off !

It's not cruel its a harmless prank. Cruel would be pushing him down the stairs

Kibble29 · 17/11/2024 21:58

Oh my god you’ve been called cruel. 😂

I await “if the genders were reversed…” coming soon.

Some very uptight people on this thread. Fine if it’s not your sense of humour but it’s not cruel or gross. Chill, ladies.

Verbena193 · 17/11/2024 19:13

Just for a giggle.

Horrible

Why should anyone get called miserable for not agreeing this is a hilarious gag?
That's not how it works. Posters are free to disagree with OPs all over MN without getting called names for it.

Pipconkermash · 17/11/2024 22:13

Some people on here are either desperately earnest or totally devoid of humour. 😂

Horrible

Jesus. He walked the dog and everything. Poor man, poor, dear, sweet, man. We must save him from his terribly cruel wife. We simply must.

NarnianQueen · 17/11/2024 22:18

Serves him right for expecting you to be his time keeping monitor instead of just looking at his own watch!

AGAIN for those at the back...

No-one's getting called miserable for not agreeing this is a 'hilarious' gag.

They're getting called miserable for trying to bring the mood of the thread down, instead of just scrolling past.

Much like those who simply have to post on a thread where someone asks what they should buy from Mcdonald's, to say fast food is 'vile, disgusting, a waste of money' etc.

It's like they can't help themselves...

Is it that seriously so binary for you? It can't be that other people just don't find it even a tiny bit funny? You're too busy chortling at the sheer hilarity that you can't bend your mind to that possibility?

Mrs brown's boys must leave you breathless.

Don't be an idiot. People debate and disagree on threads. It's literally how a forum works. Are you new here?

greengreyblue · 17/11/2024 22:28

God some really narky comments on here It’s just a joke! Lighten up.

God no, it’s awful. Nor am I chortling over the thread. But it’s harmless. And amusing. I’m chortling at those who have spent time commenting with how deeply unimpressed they are. Just move on. Why post? It’s baffling. What a waste of their time.

Or do they want to try to feel better about something else by shaming an OP? Who knows…
