Hi ... I started using a 4 litre water distiller over ten years ago.
All these years later, it still disgusts me to see & smell the disgusting deposits in the bottom of the distiller.

The only thing that frustrates me about my counter top machine, is that it doesn't last very long, probably go through an average of one per year, but having said that, it's in use daily... should I expect them to last longer.
May I ask you where you buy yours from and at what price?

If you don't already know, please don't ever decant the distilled water into a plastic bottle... distilled water "pulls", so will pull the toxins fro a plastic bottle into the water.
Always use glass.

Microwaveable hot water bottle. I get to sleep much quicker in winter now.

I found a canned alcoholic ginger beer at a local market, bloody delicious and waaayyy nicer than the usual crabbies. No nasties in it either which makes me feel like it's semi healthy!

I bought a new Christmas tree recently, a three foot pre-lit one. It runs on a battery pack. For me it's revolutionary, no more being restricted by where I put it! No more extension cables! I just need to buy more batteries, however.
