hadn’t occurred to me that lack of “beat bobbies” and “village” police stations & police “consequences” was cause of ferral kids.
I had always thought kids were feral due to parenting or lack of parenting. Had no idea parents were expecting village police & beat bobbies to keep their kids at home and behaving.

@Blaggoshpereish

glad to have helped you learn something then.

And you revealed exactly your parenting philosophy …and that your kids are feral.

Why is it clearly not the first time? There has to have been a first time.

Because a) "it was the first time, mum, I swear" is the oldest excuse in the book when caught red-handed, and b) the chances that you were so terribly unlucky as to get picked up by the fuzz and searched the very first time you ever had drugs in your possession is miniscule.

Don't be ridiculous. My children aren't feral & you know nothing about my parenting.

There are a lot of children whose parents are quite lax, but the impact on society was far less damaging when the children were aware the local police would be on them if they were violent/harming wildlife/intimidating/ etc.

now they know there are no consequences & their parents won't find out, they don't give a shit.
