On holiday. Middle of the street. Wearing a strapless top and DH pulls my top down (no bra, he knows this)

For those saying this is teenage behaviour, I hope if any of you have sons you are not bringing them up to think this is okay behaviour. I would be so angry with DS if he thought this was just an acceptable prank.

You must know what he's like in general or is this the first time he's been immature in public.

Christ you should always be wearing a bra in public in your late 40s.

Look out everybody, the Clothes Police are here! Who made you judge & jury over what other people wear.

JMSA · 18/10/2024 10:11

Holy shit, you poor thing Shock

Are you holidaying near the sea?

You could return the ‘prank’ by pushing him in. Then ‘prank’ him further by not calling for help.

When they find his body say he slipped and fell. The alcohol in his system will back it up.

If you need an alibi just say you were on MN.

Wow, you're a dark one.

I love it Grin

Icebreaker911 · 18/10/2024 10:15

Why would he do such a thing ? Does he like to 'share you' . Most men like to keep their partner to themselves...
Either way - you've lost that very valuable trust &... there should only be one outcome!

canyouletthedogoutplease · 18/10/2024 10:30

@QuintessentialDragon Your perogative to dress as you wish, and if you did sunbathe topless, wear shorts with your ass hanging out, wore thong bikinis and scrunch bum leggings super short shirts with a massive cleavage, walk round in front of your family members naked and were totally comfortable with changing rooms... it still wouldn't mean that a man could pull down your top in public.

She wasn't asking for it even if she was wearing all the above simultaneously.

Agree.

Who's raising men to think and act in this manner?

Typical drunk bloke behaviour. I wouldn’t be offended personally

And the prize for Most Misandrist Post On The Thread goes to... Elzibub!

It's not "typical drunk bloke behaviour". Most of them do better than that

People who are saying the marriage is over are u mentally stable

Yes. Exposing someone in public is abuse and any level of abuse is grounds to end a marriage.

I think the Style And Beauty board would have a collective heart attack if OP did wear all that at the same time.

Redruns · 18/10/2024 18:26

If he was OMG I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking, maybe it was a silly, poorly thought out, drunken joke.

But he's not, he minimising and dismissing the way it's made you feel. I'd guess it's not the first time.

I know several middle aged men whose "humour" would send MN into a tizz, but I don't know anyone who'd do that.

Househusband123 · 19/10/2024 08:42

It's the kind of thing I would be mortified if I had done and i would be expecting payback. My wife would begin a campaign of psychological warfare and it would be intense as she really would be miffed in similar circumstances.

Good answer! I’m glad to hear that your wife would inflict a proportional response to your lack of judgement rather than immediately filing for divorce as a lot of PP have recommended!

If your relationship involves retaliation and psychological warfare, it's dead.

I took that as a lighthearted comment, I doubt his marriage really involves psychological warfare.

Hohofortherobbers · 19/10/2024 12:10

I wouldn't ever trust not to expose me again. He'd be dumped

Whatsernom · 19/10/2024 13:59

How old is this man? Absolutely hideous and disrespectful. I hope you don’t have kids with this fool!!

AnnoyedAsAllHeck · 19/10/2024 16:42

Elzibub · 17/10/2024 19:39

Thanks for your concern. I am perfectly happy and don’t take things like that too seriously. There are a lot worse things going on to worry about. We all need to lighten up

So, sexual assault by a purported loved one is "okay", because it's okay to sexually assault a loved one as long as your BAL (blood alcohol level) is high enough to pass it off as a "harmless stunt".

Got it. 🙄👀FFS!

If your daughters husband had done this to her, what would your advice be?

Time to let this one loose - nothing good here.

This is absolutely how you should be looking at this…
