I saw them by eye too! A big red streak in the sky with a bit of a green tinge lower down. Much brighter through the phone though.

You can see them with the naked eye. They're just brighter/more vivid through the camera lens/phone camera lens. They were clearly there in the sky! Otherwise how would people know where to point the camera or phone?!

Yep, I saw the weird red streak dropping down the sky, and green hues too. (With the naked eye!)

I've either missed it or there's too much light pollution as I can't see anything. Booooo!

Love seeing everyone's pictures though!

Wow, this is identical to what I've seen in Iceland, but not with the naked eye! Stood next to a guy with a camera and tripod and it looked like this through the lens.
