Spent the last 40 minutes outside with DH, looking at this wonderous sight, (North Midlands.) Thanks for the heads-up @coffeesaveslives I did see them in May, but DH missed them. He was at work.

Essex. I've been to the cinema this evening so was thrilled that they were still visible so late. I slept through missed them a couple of months ago.

Yorkshire - can see them North south east and Westerly directions!

Just saw the green hue having seen pink earlier.

The glare of the street lights don't help though. There's a spot about a mile away I could walk to where it's pitch dark...

I could see it with the naked eye, a red in the sky, the pictures make it jump out more though.

the further north you go the stronger with naked eye, we are at a strong tilt too so north eastern coasts also good.
