I'm gone had enough. I have posted how 80% of you are twisting things and you have started doing it even more just as I point it out which confirms your just playing gamed and like a prick I have taken the bait .

No more I'm done .

I asked how you normally manage to sort meals of your SN child is the reason you couldn't last night. That's not twisting anything, it's a perfectly reasonable question.

Do you think you might need outside support OP? The house, the garden, the children, the cooking.... it all seems a lot for you.

You get a lot of support on MN (not from me I know) but lots of people try to help you on your many many threads, and it's a lot of support that you reach out for. And I'm not saying you shouldn't ask for it, but would real life support be better and much needed for you and your dc?

HollyKnight · 07/10/2024 20:21

If your 14yo is sensing this attitude from you, it would explain a lot. Maybe she just wanted you to show her that she is still important to you by asking you to do something for her.

coffeesaveslives · 07/10/2024 20:21

The same theme seems to go through all your threads - are you sure posting here is helping you? Maybe you could do with some outside support that we can't offer you here.

Because whenever anyone disagrees with something you say or do, you lash out and accuse them of all sorts of things that aren't remotely accurate. This isn't the first time a thread of yours has gone this way.

PepaWepa · 07/10/2024 20:22

You do clearly need support, and I'm not having a dig. I genuinely feel for your 14 year old as it comes across that you can't manage all of your children, and she's the one left to the sidelines. She may be "14, not 4", but she's a child, and I presume she's been last priority for a while now. This will have an effect on her for the rest of her life if changes aren't made.

You asked if you were out of order. Some people think you are. You asked.

There is an issue if she's eaten just crisps and chocolate. Yes, sometimes there are junk days but my teen has never had a day like that though. She'll feel utterly shit eating like that.

Rather than, "do you want this or something else?" What would happen if you said, "what would you like? You need something inside you, not just junk"?

Fuck the other kids and special needs then

You’re the one saying fuck the other kid OP when you let your child go to bed having not had a single meal all day!

Overthebow · 07/10/2024 20:53

There's junk days and then there's just eating crisps and chocolate and being offered frozen fish and chips. She's 14, still a child and needs some nutrition. Yes I'm sure it's a one off but even as a one off I'd worry that it's just junk all day. Maybe as a suggestion you could sit down with her and plan meals with her input, find out what she would like to eat and make it together?

I totally agree.

OP, you have accepted support on your many other threads regarding getting your house and the kids' bedrooms in order. Posters are not twisting things, they are trying to point out that you should be providing nutritious meals for all of your children including your 14 year old.

You obviously created this thread for a reason. I think deep down you know this is an area that also needs improvement. I agree with PPs that you need some support in real life because it is clearly a lot for you.

I was in temporary accommodation for a long time. I had to use my living room also as a bedroom . Definitely no room For a dinning table . I'm properly housed now. And now I use my dining room as my bedroom . So everyone can have their own room. Still no room for table. Come to think of it I have never had a dinning table in my adult life. Fuck me I'm in the gutter so badly 😢

I had a table, once
