And do you still have it?

Mine was Madonna 'True Blue' 🙈

And yes I do. (Still in my old bedroom at my parents house)

Let Go - Avril Lavigne.

Still one of my favourite albums!

Chillimuma · 26/09/2024 20:32

Britney Spears - Ooops I did it again

All Saints - all saints

Roxy Music by Roxy Music.

I still have the vinyl but all that scratchy, clicky, dusty nonsense is behind me. I have the CD and somebody needs to tell my neighbours that they won't be getting a lay in tomorrow. 😁

The Osmonds. Love Me For a Reason. Haven't got it now but this thread has made me want to go and find what's left of my album collection. I used to have loads but over the years and various moves quite a few of them disappeared. I think the rest are in the cupboard under the stairs.

Oh do it and then come back and tell us what you found please! 🤗

David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust album. And yes, I still have it in a box in the attic!

SkaneTos · 26/09/2024 22:16

"Spice", the first album by Spice Girls, 1996.

JaneIves · 26/09/2024 22:24

Terence Trent Darby - can't remember the name of the album!

celestebellman · 26/09/2024 22:24

Fifthtimelucky · 26/09/2024 23:09
  1. Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits
  2. Dark Side of the Moon

Both bought in 1975. I still have and listen to both.

Rolypolyfishheads · 26/09/2024 23:13

Paul Young - The Secret of Association. Most of my vinyl was binned a long time ago because I didn't have the room to keep it all.

ZiggyZowie · 26/09/2024 23:15

Led Zeppelin IV. aged 14

The Nolans - I'm in the mood for Dancing - and no, I don't have it now 😆

1033NWCAL069 · 27/09/2024 11:01

The Cranberries- Everybody else is doing it

It was on cassette. Played it so much the ribbon got ravelled and wrecked beyond repair. Replace it with a cd. CD quickly got scratched to bits because I always left them out of their cases. Several replacements later, digital music became a thing thankfully.

evtheria · 27/09/2024 11:02

Cassette tape: Spice Girls 'Spice' (no, I don’t 😭)

ginasevern · 27/09/2024 11:03

David Bowie Space Oddity when I was 14.

IfYouLook · 27/09/2024 11:05

“Shaky” by Shakin Stevens on vinyl. 1981 I attach a pic for those unlucky enough not to be familiar with Mr Steven’s canon.

Sadly I no longer have this classic work.

My first cassette was True Blue by Madonna that I do rate.

That’s a single thought. But a top track! Loved it.
