And do you still have it?

Mine was Madonna 'True Blue' 🙈

And yes I do. (Still in my old bedroom at my parents house)

Colour By Numbers by Culture Club on cassette, although it was my aunty who bought me it. The first one I bought with my own money was Wham! Make It Big. And no I don’t have either, sadly. Although we did source an original Make It Big vinyl for my daughter’s Christmas pressie a couple of years ago because loves them too!

But the first record I ever got (bought for me) was The Smurf Song.

Arafon · 26/09/2024 18:49

One of those Top of the Pops albums of covers which came out in the late 60s

I most definitely don't still have it

NerrSnerr · 26/09/2024 18:51

No, I'm older than that. I'm 43. I was still at primary school(just).

Comedycook · 26/09/2024 19:04

Think it was either the first Kylie Minogue album or ten good reasons by Jason Donavon

Ooh, good choice! My brother had that and I "borrowed" it on a more or less permanent basis.

Ginisatonic · 26/09/2024 19:07

The first album I bought for myself was Hunky Dory - David Bowie. Yes I still have it along with most of his other albums too.
However I will confess that the first single I ever bought was Long Haired Lover from Liverpool by Little Jimmy Osmond and I am hanging my head in shame.

QueefofSheena · 26/09/2024 19:09

A Night At The Opera, still have it

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 26/09/2024 19:09

I loved True Blue!

My first was Blondie's Parallel Lines.

Thighdentitycrisis · 26/09/2024 19:10
