Could be anything..

I met a beautiful cocker spaniel puppy in the park today - she jumped up at me and put her nose in my hand. She was all squirmy and waggy with big brown eyes and flappy ears - an absolute delightful girl.

The rain started 2 minutes after we got back from the school run so we stayed nice and dry.

Friend has offered to bring dd back from band practice. I had to get off my sick bed to take her, but I can now retire to bed again.

A lovely compliment from somebody at work

Saw one of the druggies/pissheads that stain our town shouting at a mother pushing a pram. A bigger guy went to her aid and punched him in the face knocking him to the floor.

I arranged a playdate for my daughter for the first time in a year today, it was lovely. She was so happy and had a lovely time❤ I've moved jobs and now have time and headspace for playdates again and it felt really good, I'm so thankful for my new job.

I'm in the Caribbean and my flight home today is delayed so I get an extra 4 hours to enjoy the all inclusive hotel before I leave.

These are bringing a tear to my eye. Mine's bittersweet perhaps. A family member received a diagnosis - it brings a sense of relief and a spark of hope for treatment and improvement.

I'm not feeling well today and my teen dd had a cup of tea waiting for me when I got home from work, she had also put a load of washing on (And hung it out!) most unlike her!

I spent the afternoon planting spring bulbs ready for next year with my Springer Spaniel 'helping' me. It was raining but nice to be out in the fresh air.

Saw my brother who lives a couple of hours drive away and we went for lunch with my mum.

My baby stood up by herself for the first time and beaming and laughing as she is so chuffed with herself

I took my 3.5 year old DD on her first bus ride into our local town today. Car is having some repairs and I was at a loss with what to do with her on a rainy day. We sat at the front on the top deck and watched the world go by and chatted for an hour, then got off, had a hot chocolate and some lunch in the M&S cafe, then got the bus home. Just a lovely couple of simple but precious hours with her 💕

I met two art friends for lunch. After we eventually left the restaurant, we bumped into another art friend who was so pleased to see us, it made me smile

I fixed something I didn’t think was fixable and it only took a second!!

My dd6 has made friends with a little girl who has recently joined the school, having moved over from another (war-torn) country. Her mother stopped me at pick-up today to tell me that her dd had struggled to make friends (probably due to language barrier), and had been unhappy and very reluctant to go into school. But since making friends with my dd, hers has been going into school very happily. No more tears or anxiety.

So glad that this has helped ease the difficult path for them on some small level.

Face timing with my gorgeous blonde hair blue eyed baby grandson. He was sitting in his new spiderman babygro. 10 months old. His grin just melts my heart.

I saved a frog on my dog walk in the woods tonight - right in the middle of the path, waiting to be trodden on

Pebbles16 · 26/09/2024 19:45

It was pouring with rain and the patio flooded, imagine my delight when I saw a frog lolloping about in it

Your DD is the kind of person who makes the world a better place. Thank you from a mum whose DS struggles to make friendsFlowers

I put some beautiful dark pinky purple ink in my new fountain pen and spent a boring meeting doodling with it and everyone thought I was taking notes.
