What the fuck?!!! Maggots

We’ve just opened our front door to a load of maggots. They have dropped in into our hall way, there is an infestation on the front lawn and there’s no reason why!! There’s no food in that area and they literally just appeared cos it’s raining. Why!!

As an aside, isn't it actually more disconcerting that they've gone (a bit like when you lose a spider or when a prisoner escapes a high category prison)? Sometimes it's creepier not knowing their next move and where they are hiding!
