We watched Nightsleeper last night.
Was really looking forward to it.
It was so unbelievably bad but we loved it... DH said it was like a 6th form production😆

Doctors on BBC1. It's like a modern day Crossroads - every now and then it's quite bonkers and then they throw in some brilliantly acted episodes.
I've been watching it for years and I'm gutted that it's finishing.
Nothing wrong with Law and Order.

I live in the US and we have these channels that play on a loop 24/7 dedicated to one television show.

I usually watch endless "Midsomer Murders" or "Doc Martin" episodes but a few weeks ago, I clicked the wrong channel number and ended up on a 24/7 channel for "Doctors". That particular episode was so cheesy but I couldn't stop watching it. I love that series!

Yeah, I've done a lot of BCP work and planning and even in my much less meaningful world with much smaller consequences, some of this incompetence would just not happen! I mean, the whole inability ot engage with a french company? Not being able to find somewone who would actually talk to the driver? And I'm only on episode 2.

Can't wait for the rest!

have you tried Cobra on Sky? Similar issues!

IdLikeToBeAFraser · 19/09/2024 16:58

I tried Cobra. But it was so bad and frankly, boring. I couldn't keep watching. I had to stop.

The Masked Singer and how ridiculously excited I get about guessing each week even though there is no prize, very silly banter and some are obvious. But I love it!
Also the films Xanadu and Slipper and the Rose. Great people in them but total cheese. Comforting (and now have outed myself to friends and family!)

elp30 · 19/09/2024 17:00

@Starlight1979

Alfie Moon, Phil Mitchell, Cathy and Sharon?!

Thank you for that information! I'll be watching that from now on!

I've agreed with almost everything posted here but this is the pinnacle and I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. I'm obsessed with The Masked Singer and already driving DH mad by wanting to start up conversations about which celebs might be on it this year (I have a list. I really am that sad). I definitely need to watch at least one episode this year while eating a pot noodle for ultimate so-bad-it's good factor.

The big white Costco sheet cake that feeds one thousand people for 12.99. It’s all white whipped sugar and more sugar and absolutely amazing.

TeamPolin · 19/09/2024 17:16

Sausage and Egg McMuffins, craved these like mad when I was pregnant.

the80sweregreat · 19/09/2024 17:27

I love the masked singer ! It's just frothy good fun.
Pineapple on pizza is every kind of wrong but I love it.

@SomethingDifferentBloomed

I'm totally blaming you for this atrocity that came in my food shop today...

(I'm going to eat it while watching the last couple of episodes of Nightsleeper 😆)

Ahahahaha I’m clearly a bad influence! Enjoy 😊

My favourite film, I absolutely love it!
I also love the Kissing Booth Films, and the Amish Hallmark ones.
I'm a sucker for good crap films, with my couch and snacks.
I'm spending Christmas on my own this year, but I'm fine with it as I'll be eating delicious snacks and watching channel 5 films, marvellous stuff.

Friendlygingercat · 13/10/2025 02:07

Robot wars - used to love it.

Films by Ed Wood - Glen or Glenda, Plan 9 from Outer Space, etc.

So brilliantly bad.

TheExcitersblowingupmymind · 13/10/2025 03:32

Cheesy Doritos.
They're awful. But soon good!

the80sweregreat · 15/10/2025 03:27

Pringle’s. I don’t like them , but I find myself wanting more than one if anyone has any.
