We watched Nightsleeper last night.
Was really looking forward to it.
It was so unbelievably bad but we loved it... DH said it was like a 6th form production😆

Can't remember the name but cut-price version of Naked and Afraid.

Instead of burly American survivalists in the jungle it was weedy pale English people straggling naked across rainy dales.

@TheMarzipanDildo I started watching RW&RB with DD after binging Heartstopper, I thought it might be similarly age appropriate.

She mocked it mercilessly and then promptly left the room when they had sex, mostly due to the cheesiness and luckily before penetration was implied.

EngineEngineNumber9 · 16/09/2024 13:33

Troll 2 - it doesn’t feature trolls and isn’t a sequel 😂 Even has a documentary about it called Best Worst Movie

Also 90 Day Fiancé! Were hooked.

Stirmish · 16/09/2024 13:26

@Dennisisamennis I've never heard of that and definitely won't be watching it Grin

Don't. It was worse than I'm describing.

ZwarteZwaan · 16/09/2024 13:37

MAFS Australia

SparkyBlue · 16/09/2024 13:43

Blue Bloods. You can predict everything that will happen but it's bizarrely enjoyable

MinnieCauldwell · 16/09/2024 13:48

Crossroads and Triangle, showing my age!

I remember crossroads and triangle
(Angel's about the nurses wasn't too bad though. )

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 16/09/2024 14:19

The Netflix adaptation of Persuasion.

Jane the Virgin

Yes! I've watched it all twice and haven't ruled out a third watch tbh.

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 16/09/2024 14:23

Under Paris on Netflix.

Adding - Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia. I mean, he's very knowingly terrible, and I absolutely loved it.

I love disaster films and TV shows, the cheesier the better. This one was particularly bad/good.

I was tempted until I saw 8% on rotten tomatoes! That’s too low even for me, and I love a bad disaster film!

Zephyry · 16/09/2024 14:54

Virgin River in Netflix falls perfectly into this category

BrightYellowStar · 16/09/2024 15:00

Highway to Heaven.

Came across it online and thought, "Oh I remember that from the 80s!" (when I was very young). Watched it recently and DH and I were in tears laughing.

Personal favourite line so far is a woman explaining how her boy's dad died as bomb hit when he was "delivering powered milk to the orphanage".

The plots are ridiculous hilarious. For example, in one episode the two main characters befriend a single mum of a young boy. Literally within hours of meeting her they are in her home putting her son to bed (unsupervised)! In another episode the two main characters are physiotherapists working with trauma patients in a hospital. It really is so bad it's good.

CornedBeef451 · 16/09/2024 15:01

@Ozgirl75 I love that idea. But I think the presidents son needs to be charming and charismatic, not sure a Trump could pull it off.

CornedBeef451 · 16/09/2024 15:04

@IdLikeToBeAFraser the book is much better. There's an extra sister that's missing from the film, a step dad, an unwise sexual act in the karaoke bar toilet and much more!

There's also A LOT of very raunchy fanfic on AO3.

I haven’t see the whole film but have you seen this clip of Brosnan’s awful “maybe you shouldn’t be living here” line in the film Taffin? Hilariously terrible.

poppymango · 16/09/2024 15:40

There was a show a few years back called Once Upon A Time, all about fairytale characters come to life in the same little American town. It was so utterly utterly dreadful; writing, accents, costumes, special effects... but it was so much fun. It was my comfort show for ages. It ran for so many seasons it's insane 😂

IdLikeToBeAFraser · 16/09/2024 15:41

@EngineEngineNumber9 He does love to take the piss a bit. Did you see him in the Cinderella remake recently? small part, but totally hams it up. You can just see him thinking, "I'm doing this for the cash and to have a bit of a laugh along the way"

I actually know two people who've met him in real life in social situations and they both say he's a bit of a laugh. so not surprising.

AccidentallyWesAnderson · 16/09/2024 15:43

Kraft cheesy pasta
Eldorado (loved it back in the day).
