We watched Nightsleeper last night.
Was really looking forward to it.
It was so unbelievably bad but we loved it... DH said it was like a 6th form production😆

Me too

Red, White and Royal Blue film on Prime. The son of the American President falls in love with a closeted Prince of England, what's not to love/hate?

It's extremely cheesy, like a Hallmark Christmas movie on crack but with better production standards and hotter cast.

It's terrible but I love it and have now watched it a few times as I find it oddly soothing and the lead actors are very pretty.

I haven't watched this (DH would cringe to death!) but I listened to the audio book and I concur, it's so bad it's good.

I read the book first and was eagerly awaiting the film.
I'm so excited they're making a follow up.
I'm not even ashamed.

Another vote for pork scratchings
MAFS
The Daily Star
Maggi chicken noodles
All of the new Disney live-action remakes (Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast etc. Sooo shit. So why am I still watching??)
(When I was 16) lemon flavour hooch and the blue MD 20/20

The Campaign with Will Ferrel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Campaign_(film)

Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. DH and I absolutely LOVED it and spent WEEKS (months, possibly years) entertaining ourselves with lines.

Also agree re Red, White, Blue - DH came into the room when I was watching it and almost got sucked in and he HATEs this sort of movie. SO SO SO bad but absolutely fabulous.

Cheap frankfurters. Honestly, disgusting, but amazing.

Also, didn't know there was a book. Have sent myself a sample. suspect I'm about to drop £4.99.

There was a spike lee film on last night on bbc2. The acting production was like a GCSE drama exam. At one point you could physically see the actors waiting for action or their lines, it was painful!

Which film was it?

He filmed 'Do the right thing' whilst he was still at college studying film so it was his first film

It's bloody brilliant as is his film SOS Summer of Sam

Tdp123 · 16/09/2024 13:03

Has anyone mentioned Downtown Abbey yet?

I couldn’t work out who that was aimed at. It seemed very young teen and then…full sex!

TheMarzipanDildo · 16/09/2024 13:12

Joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat, the film. For some reason me and my friend were expecting something more serious and more religious-y a la Fiddler on the Roof. We couldn’t stop laughing.

It’s knowingly shit though so I don’t know if it counts?

Pacific Rim is one of my favourite films!
Atlantic Rim on the other hand is unwatchable imo
Edited to correct ? to !

Edited

The Pacific Rim sequel sucked too. I was very disappointed.

ChipsCheeseAndGravey · 16/09/2024 13:12

Oh this is my department!
Finders Crispy Pancakes (the Iceland knock offs - cheese and mushroom)
Pot noodle
Chicago Town deep dish microwave pizzas
Flying Saucer sweets
Rainbow Drops (the fake popcorn sweets)
Reality TV (Rock of Love, Made in Chelsea, MILF Manor)
Tiny soap from the hotel.

What’s Bee-Nado? Sounds right up my street!

I’m hoping it’s as high quality as Sharknado!

I came on to say Sharknado 🦈 or maybe Sharknado 2.. 3... how many are there by now?
(Spoiler alert!) When Tara Reid gets her arm bitten off and she ends up with a bionic arm / circular saw hand.
Sharknado movies are the best example of so bad they're good 😁

CalliopePlantain · 16/09/2024 13:14

Did anyone else watch Sunset Beach? Definitely falls into this category.

I do love a fray bentos pie

BobbyBiscuits · 16/09/2024 13:14

I used to like watching this stupid show called Lizard Lick Towing. It was so daft and the bits where they take the cars back is so fake.

The Best Man. I stand corrected it was directed by Spike Lees cousin and produced by Spike Lee

SuburbanCrofter · 16/09/2024 13:16

Selling Sunset. Sometimes it's so bad I feel it is physically hurting me and I have to pause it, but this season was worth it alone for Chelsea's suit with her arse cheeks hanging out, and the dog funeral 😁

(By the way I saw Chelsea interviewed on This Morning and she is funny and charming in real life, and definitely playing a part)

the80sweregreat · 16/09/2024 13:22

Most hallmark films, especially the Christmas ones!
You end up watching whilst knowing exactly what's coming next and has the same actors in them I'm sure of it. They hook you in
A film called ' leap year ' with Amy Adams is the same too
I always watch it if it's on even if you know it's just rubbish!

GalileoHumpkins · 16/09/2024 13:24

Did anyone else watch Sunset Beach?

Yes, I've never seen so many flashbacks in my life! I swear there was an episode that had flashbacks of a flashback 😂it was glorious.

CheekySwan · 16/09/2024 13:25

Jane the Virgin

Stirmish · 16/09/2024 13:26

@Dennisisamennis I've never heard of that and definitely won't be watching it Grin

CornedBeef451 · 16/09/2024 13:27

@Livinginaclock I'm disturbingly excited about the sequel!

Stirmish · 16/09/2024 13:27

Sharknado was such a brilliantly bad film

I watched it with the DC and we thought it was brilliantly hilariously awful so we watched Sharknado 2 the next day

The Mallorca Files - first 2 series were on BBC until the pandemic stopped recording. It's now popped up with a third series on Prime and it's quite terrible, but somehow completely addictive too. I binged the entire third series in a few days.

What seemed like it was going to be on the same lines is "The Good Ship Murder" on Channel 5. Unfortunately the acting on that is terrible on another level and I couldn't stand more than 1.5 episodes before giving up.

Oh I looovvveee the Good Ship Murder! 😆

It is really bad, but soooo good - and there’s going to be another series and a Christmas special!

If you struggle with it, just have a good long look at Shayne Ward… 😍 I’d never taken any notice of him before this… he scrubs up very nicely😁

**Adding cheese spread, pate and meat paste to the list… all lovely on crusty bread, or toast with a bit of salad….also hot dog sausages… but don’t read the ingredients list!
