I love these threads and haven't seen one for a while.

I haven't been eating much or very well these last few weeks as the hot weather curbs my appetite so I am hoping to get so inspiration from others and come September I am starting anew with healthy eating .

An easy peeler
Left over cottage pie made with minced beef, tomatoes, celery, onion, peas, carrots, potatoes and herbs.
A chocolate covered shortbread biscuit
3 wine gums
For dinner I will be having steak and salad and bread
Can of Coke zero
A twix or other small bar after dinner.

I've been bad today.

Started alright, blueberry granola style cereal for breakfast with a cuppa and no sugar.

Lunch, foot long chicken and cheese subway, herb and cheese bread with mayo and salad. Then half a Tottenham cake.

Afternoon, helped DS aged 4 make 10 mini character chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing and spring, ate 3 of them.

Dinner, just frozen whole fillet coated chicken pieces, salt and pepper chips and salad, followed by strawberries and cut up apple, then a quarter of a bag of hair I tangfastics.

Very random/unhealthy today as have been travelling - a chocolate brioche, an M&S tuna/sweetcorn sandwich (ate 3/4 of it) and salt and vinegar crisps, 2 M&S pretzel fudge mini bites, 2 x slices of toast and marmite 🙄
Am going to eat nothing but salad and fruit for dinner…

I've had a very random food day as we seem to have "nice food" but very little "basic food" - I suspect because we've pussyfooted around eating the "nice food" because it's "for the weekend" and now have nothing else left!

2 small croissants with some raspberries and blueberries, a coffee and a glass of orange juice. A few glasses of water.

A slice of olive bread toasted with some marg on, a small amount of rather shrivelled salad (what I could rescue from the bottom of the bag) with balsamic, bit of cheese, an apple, a small slice of lemon drizzle cake with some more raspberries and blueberries and a cup of decaf tea.

A couple of plain crackers as I couldn't find anything I wanted to eat.

I put dinner in the slow cooker earlier, so know we have a chickpea and veg (tomato, onion, garlic, broccoli, green bean, celery) casserole that I'm going to go and assess whether it needs some rice doing to go with it.

A couple of slices of ham and a yoghurt for lunch.

Now im eating a godawful weight watchers ready meal with a pack of slim rice.

Before I go to bed I'll have another yoghurt and dream of cake. 🤣

Started the day with masala chai and rich tea biscuits

Croissant and omelette

Went out with a friend for a drink and chips / chicken tenders at a pub

No idea for dinner perhaps some leftovers from fridge

Breakfast - Granary toast with proactive and home made rhubarb jam. Coffee and milk
Lunch - small full english coffee with milk
Not had dinner yet but Paprika pork and basmati rice and a few glasses of red wine
Snacks - orange and homemade banana bread

Made macaroni cheese with tuna and peas for lunch

Pancakes with fruit and whipped cream as a playdate snack

Tea I'm really hoping the shop has leeks as I want leek and potato soup!

One slice sourdough toast with some mashed mackerel lemon and mayo.
2 chocolate chip cookies small
Dinner 2 small sausages big pile of cabbage, carrotts and peas. 2 small roasties.
Rasberries and strawberries with a dash of single cream.

Some mini M&Ms, two slices of mouldy loaf (aka malt loaf). Not sure I can be arsed to cook dinner.

No breakfast as I was going out for a Sunday Lunch and I didn't want to spoil it (we were eating at 12.30)

I had a traditional 'roast beef dinner' which, whilst it was a beautiful lunch, was disappointingly small (and I don't eat big portions either...but this was really small!)

2 x halves of roast potato (so one VERY small potato!)

1 x slice of beef - beautifully cooked but ONE slice??

What I can only describe as a 'sliver' of a carrot...literally one tiny slice of carrot!

1 x 'dwarf' head of that very thin broccoli (a minuscule shred)

About a tablespoon of red cabbage in some kind of syrup (so sweet red cabbage)

One small Yorkshire Pudding

Gravy (which was actually really generously poured on, and I suspect there were more calories in that than the rest of the lunch 🤣)

The men in our party were open mouth shocked at the tiny plate of food presented. We all thought that they would bring dishes of vegetables to the table, but no 🤷‍♀️

I've never come away from a pub Sunday Lunch hungry before 🤣

It wasn't cheap either at £23.50 - in Lincolnshire!!

Ah well...as I said, the actual food was really tasty, just needed a bit more really!

I came home and had two Jaffa cakes and a bag of crisps 👌🏻

Veggie burger for lunch with a Skinny food co brownie afterwards.

Fish pie and runner beans for tea.

I need to eat more fruit I think.
